I woke up to the sun shining in my face and i turned over on my side, feeling another body. I opened my eyes and saw Nate. I furrowed my eyebrows but remembered what happened. I leaned over and kissed Nate's lips and his eyes fluttered opened. "Morning baby girl." Nate said. "Morning." I said back. I got up and went to my dresser and pulled out a pair of black skinny jeans and a loose tank top. I looked at Nate and he gave me a questioning look. "Starbucks?" I said and he nodded. I put on the clothes i had picked out and slipped on my black Vans. I brushed my hair and done my everyday makeup. I grabbed my phone and looked at Nate. "Ready?" I asked and he nodded fixing his snapback. I laughed a bit and we walked to Starbucks, which was just around the corner. After, we were finished eating, Nate and i began walking back to my aparment. As we passed an alley i heard a guy whistle. I looked to my left, and saw the same guys from last night. Nate and I ran back to the Starbucks and i called my older brother Sam. 10 minutes later, Sam's car was outside. We got in the car and Sam looked mad. "I want answers, Haven." Sam said and I nodded. "Who are you?" He said looking at Nate. "That's Nate." I said. "Are y'all dating?" He asked and i shook my head. "He's just a really good friend." Sam nodded. "How old are you Nate?" Sam asked. "18." Nate replied, "How'd you meet my sister?" He asked. "We met at school, but..." Nate said looking at me. I nodded signaling for Nate to tell Sam what happened. "I saved her last night from a group of bikers. They tried to hurt her. Badly." Nate said. Sam clenched his jaw and nodded. "The alley next to the Starbucks is the alley it hapened in. And those same guys were in the alley and we didn't want to have to deal with them. Again." Nate explained. "I can't believe this happened. Haven are you okay? How far did they get?" Sam asked. "Sam calm down. Yes, i'm fine. This one guy was trying to kiss my neck when Nate got him off me." I said. Sam looked at Nate. "Thanks Nate." Sam said and began driving me to my aparment. He dropped Nate and I off and then left. "Sam is 22 and i'm 17, he didn't want me to move out but i finally talked him into it, under the condition that i stayed safe. That's why he freaked out so bad." I said filling Nate in on what just happened. "What about your parents?" He asked. "My dad left around the time Sam was 2. My mom lives in Nebraska." I said. Nate nodded. I sat down next to him on the couch and put my legs across his lap. "I like your tattoos." I said after a minute. Nate smiled showing his dimple. "Do you want any tattoos?" Nate asked and i nodded. I want the words 'Stay Strong' on my wrists to remind me to stay strong. When i was little, i used to take Sharpie and write stay strong on my wrist." I said. Nate smiled. "I could make that happen." He said. I smiled. "Really?" I asked. He nodded. "After you turn 18, we can have my tattoo artist do them for you." He said and i smiled. I kissed his cheek and he smiled. I can't wait to actually make him mine.
