When Elena woke the next morning, it was half nine. She rubbed her eyes and sat up. Looking around, her jeans were still thrown about on the floor. After a moment of confusion, she remembered the man from last night and his beautifully disgusting mouth. She loosed a sigh and stepped towards the shower–realizing she still needed to finish packing her trunk for today.

She would have to grab breakfast from the trolley if she wanted to make it to the platform on time, but she had time enough for a quick shower. And after last night's activities, she definitely needed one. After her she washed the smell of sex off her body, she could worry about whether she had packed the right robes or remembered to bring along her favorite copy of advanced potions.

Just before 11, Elena disapparated with her belongings for the station. She walked with a fury through the crowds of muggles, hoping the wall wouldn't have sealed itself yet. She set off at a run towards it, praying to Merlin she wouldn't get smushed. She passed through easily and nearly rammed her trolley into someone's mother.

"Shit, sorry!" Elena kept running, pulling her trunk up with her, she jumped into the train just as the last whistle blew. The girl let out a breath and walked up the train to the compartment she knew her boys would already be seated in. She paid no attention to the people along the way, thinking only of what she might snag for brekkie.

"Elena! Our favorite Hufflepuff, how are you? In love with me yet? Please say yes."

She stopped in the doorway, glaring at Fred. She shook her head and lifted the trunk she had been carrying above the seats. The girl looked at his less annoying twin, "Hey George. Tell your git of a brother that I hate him, yeah?" She sat down next to the boy as he chuckled at Fred's misfortune.

"I keep telling him that he's not got a chance, but what can I do? The man doesn't listen." Elena laughed as she pulled out her mokeskin pouch. "Any bets on when something goes awry with Potter? I'm putting five galleons on something happening on the train this year." The boys exchanged a worrying glance and said, "You're on!"

Fred continued, "Jokes on you though, I've just been to see him and he's sat with a sleeping Professor, so I doubt anything happens until the bloke's off the train."

"You can't call a Professor a bloke, Frederick."

Both boys laugh as Fred counters, "He's maybe 5 years older than us, we probably saw him around the castle as first years. I'll call him what I want."
Elena turns toward George, "He gets detention in the first class with the guy?"

"Most definitely." The boy picks up his quill and starts sketching in his overful notebook. "He'll be scrubbing desks by tomorrow night." Fred scoffs and mutters something about checking on Harry again before walking out of the compartment again.

She watches George draw until she can hear the trolley coming around. Standing up, she asks the boy if he wants anything. He shakes his head and resumes his movements.

"Hiya dear, what can I get ya?" the trolley witch sweeps her arm out in front of the goods she has on offer and Elena grins at the woman. "I'll take a pumpkin pasty and a treacle tart, please.", she hands the woman a few coins and throws a thanks her way before returning to her compartment. Shutting the door, she sets the pasty down in Fred's seat.

Elena finds her seat again, she sets into her tart as she says, "did they turn off the heating? It's bloody cold in here". She takes another bite.

"El, I think somethings outside. And look, we're slowing down...", Elena looks up at George, who looks utterly terrified out the window. "What?"

The lights go out as the train slows to a halt. Someone down the corridor has screamed. Elena realizes it's gone so cold, she can see her own breath hanging in the air between the two. "George..." She feels him clutch her hand. "What's going on?"

"Expecto Patronum!"

The two whip their heads towards each other. "Elena, isn't that the spell for warding off a dementor? Is there a dementor on the train?" After a second, "Merlin, there is. Should we go?" Elena shakes her head with wide eyes locked on George's. She can't think of a worse idea. She can't think at all until suddenly she starts to feel warmth start to envelop her again and the lights flicker on. She lets out a breath that she had held for much too long. Shaking a bit, she dropped George's hand and pulled her robes tighter around her.

Fred comes storming in just after Elena hears a strangely familiar voice says, "Eat, Fred. I have to speak to the conductor". He shivers once and sits, digging into a piece of chocolate and then the pasty on the table in front of him.

Elena looks out the door a bit confused, and then turns to the boy stuffing his face. "Are you alright? What just happened?" Fred shrugs his shoulders and swallows roughly.

He looks up at the two of them and quietly says, "Dementor. Harry. Professor Bloke. I don't know, but I owe you five galleons."

"Shit. Is he okay?" Elena leaped up from her seat and set off down the corridor, the twins following close behind. Fred quietly pointed out the compartment at the end of the car in the left, the one with the shades pulled down. She walked up to the door and knocked softly. She could hear whispering coming from inside.

Someone inside unlocked the door and it slid open. The girl sat down next to Harry and grabbed his face in her hands. "Are you alright?" the boy nodded, so she turned to the other two sitting there. "What about you two? Was someone hurt? You all look sick".

"Well..." Hermione started. Harry met his friends gaze and shook his head, wide eyed. Hermione continued quickly, "Harry fainted. There was a dementor, you see. But Professor Lupin was here and he saved us. Cast a Patronus and gave us all some chocolate to feel better." Elena noticed that Hermione had started to blush at the mention of the new Professor.

Elena sighed and stood up to leave, seeing that the three of them weren't in immediate danger. "Alright, I'm glad you three are fine then. You should change into your robes though, we're almost to Hogwarts." And with that the three older students headed back to their own compartment.
