Chapter 4

Harry's POV

Next day morning I was in the Gryffindor Common room waiting for the others to come. When everyone arrived, I told them what I was going to do.

"Did you guys see that Jackson had a tattoo on his left forearm? I bet he is a death eater."

Ron agreed with me. Ginny had an unsure look on her face. But Hermione argued.

"If a person has a tattoo it doesn't mean he is a death eater."

It was a bit early. I saw Jackson and friends going towards the forest. I showed it to my friends.

"Hey guys, look they are probably going to contact Voldemort."

"Harry, Voldemort is dead. You're the one who killed him." Ginny said.

"Then what are they doing in the forbidden forest?" I asked. This time Hermione spoke up.

"Okay then, Let's go and see what they are doing." Perhaps Hermione was curios too.

We exited the castle through the main door. They were nowhere to be seen. We walked past Hagrid's hut and entered the forest. As we were closing I could hear the sound of metal clashing.

They were sword fighting. Percy vs Annabeth and Nico vs Thalia. Percy had a bronze sword, Annabeth had a bone sword (though I have no idea which animal has that big bones), Nico had a scary pitch black sword, Thalia had a long spear. They were fighting like demons.

They even didn't realize that we were watching them. Soon Thalia and Nico's fight were over though they didn't acknowledge our presence. After about 15 minutes of waiting they called a tie.

They were all sitting on logs and rocks talking. I decided to make our presence known.

We walked near them. I said 'Hi'. All of a sudden, I was pinned against a tree with a sword pointed to my neck. Percy was holding the sword. I looked around to see Hermione pinned by Thalia, Ron pinned by Nico and Ginny pinned by Annabeth.

After they realized it was us they released us and sheathed their swords.

"Sorry" Percy smiled. "We have fast reflexes. Didn't realize it was you. You guys have to be students."

I forced a smile. "Yeah and you must be the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, Professor Jackson"

"Yeah, and please call me Percy. Except for in the class. Dumbledore insists on calling me Professor Jackson at the class. It's pretty awkward, being called Professor. Besides you guys are even older than me. I'm 17 and how does he expect me to teach students that are older than me. I mean I came home after 8 months and Gandalf appeared in front of our apartment and says, 'Perseus, I want you to teach in a wizarding school' and then my mom apparently is a witch, and I'm a wizard blah, blah, blah we're here." He rambled.

After he was finished we all stared at him confused. For a moment I forgot he was the grandson of the Dark Lord. Annabeth rolled her eyes.

"He has ADHD." She stated. "In fact, all of us have it and dyslexia. But he is the most hyper."

Ron looked shocked. He started yelling. "That has to be something to contact his grandfather. I told you guys, they are death eaters" Hermione slammed her hand over his mouth. I agree. Suspecting is one thing. But accusing them? That's a whole new level. What's wrong (I had to) with him?

"Shut up Ronald!" Hermione whisper-yelled. "ADHD and Dyslexia are illnesses. Think before speaking."

Percy, Annabeth and Thalia turned to Nico. "Mor-wizards eat Thanatos?" Thalia asked. I was sure she had meant some other thing. But I decided not to pry.

"I don't know" Nico answered. "I think this is more like a group of people."

"How did you guys get pegasi?" Hermione questioned. I forgot about that. I remembered Dumbledore telling he doesn't know of his heritage before they told him. Just then the bell rang and they ran off saying they had to meet Dumbledore.

Well, I sighed. That could've gone better. Let's wait and see about the lessons. Surely I could beat him. Then I could show to everyone he is just another Lockhart. Right? I'm the boy who lived after all.
