Two weeks later, everything was packed up and ready to move. Michael and I still didn't want to move, but we had to. We said all our goodbyes and got in the car and drove to our new home. Four hours later, we arrived. "Wow look at it!" exclaimed Michael. They stepped inside, and it was HUMONGOUS! The living room smelled of peppermint, and had terracotta tile. The dining room had a large, beautiful chandelier hanging above the dark oak table. "This house is amazing." I said. I went out back and found a little creek in the woods behind the house. I went on looking through the woods to see what else was back there. A head of me, I spotted a little trellis with flowers neatly placed on it, with a bench made of jewels which also had flowers places on its edges. I walked over there to see what it was. On the bench, there was a name engraved, but I couldn't quite make out the faded letters. I sat down on the bench and felt the wind on my face. I went further down the path the trellis entered to, and found a small garden. There was beautiful flowers everywhere; I felt a weird feeling, but I felt like this was where she belonged. I walked back to the house. "Where have you been?" Mom asked. "Just for a walk" I replied with no expression on my face. "Oh, ok. Lucy (the dog) needs to be fed and taken for a walk." "Ok mom, I'll do it." I said. I got out Lucy's food bowl and poured some kibble in it. Lucy ate up quickly, then I got out her leash and hooked it on Lucy's collar. I wasn't going to go to the garden; her mom might see her come out of the woods and question her, so Claire went up and down the road twice. She was heading back, when she sensed something behind her. She turned around... to be continued...
