The day before Valentine's

9.40am, the alarm rang. Sarah turned it off and looked over to Carlos who was still asleep, "Good Morning" said in a cheeky voice. "morning Sarah.." He said mumbling covering his eyes with one hand, "What time is it?" Carlos asked Sarah with a sleepy voice. "It's 9.40, why?" "What's the date?" he asked again, she gasped and said excitedly "Valentine's Day!". Carlos chuckled and slowly got up, "You're really excited about Valentine's Day, huh?" "Duh, people receive chocolates, balloons! And almost everyone has a date.." Sarah said as her voice became sad. "What's wrong?" Carlos asked with a worried voice, "Nothing, it's just that i don't really have a date and all my friends have one every Valentine" she responded looking down while fidgeting with her fingers.

"Hey, don't worry, I can be your Valentine" Carlos slowly said trying to comfort Sarah. "Really?" She looked up seeing Carlos' eyes, "Yea, I don't really have a date this year either" He answered rubbing his hair chuckling. Sarah hugged him and went off to shower meanwhile in Carlos' mind "Man, how do I tell her I like her..?" Before he thought of anything else, Sarah walked out of the shower "Hii" she said walking over to the closet. Carlos covered his eyes so Sarah could have some privacy while she changes, "Why are you covering your eyes?" she asked giggling. "T-to give you privacy" Carlos stuttered while covering his eyes, "I'm already done, silly." Sarah replied giggling, Carlos opened his eyes and got out of bed to shower. A few minutes later.. Carlos found Sarah laying down on the couch watching TV. Sarah saw Carlos walking out of the room and got up to hug him, "Heyy" she said hugging him.

Carlos chuckled and hugged her back, "Hi" replied with a warm smile. "Knock it off, love birds" said from one of the most annoying person alive, Zarah, Sarah's older twin by 2 minutes. Hearing Zarah say something to Sarah made her want to roll her eyes and punch him, "Hi Zarah, I'm glad to hear you again" she said in a sarcastic voice. "Hi Sarah, I got nuggets from McD for you" Zarah replied putting a McD bag on the counter. Sarah gasped and said "Really?" while jumping up and down in excitement. Zarah laughed and said "Yes idiot", "Ooh! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" Sarah thanked Zarah. As she opened the box of nuggets, Carlos steals one of the nuggets and eats it, Sarah gasped, looking at Carlos. "Hey! You stole one of my nuggets." she says with her hands on her hips, Carlos chuckles and walks over to the door "I'm going to my mom's place for awhile. Wanna come?" He asks wondering if Sarah wants to come along. "Sure, why not, I haven't been out in awhile. Just a minute, I need to brush my hair" "Alright, i'll wait in the car outside".

Before Sarah walked out, Zarah told her to not do anything suspicious with Carlos. "Whatever" she replied rolling her eyes, she then walked out of the house and walked over to the car and knocked on the window signaling Carlos to unlock the door. Carlos looked up from his phone and unlocked the door, Sarah then got into the car "Hii again" she said breaking the small silence.

"Hi, are you ready to go?" Carlos asks placing one of his hands on the steering wheel, "Yep" Sarah replies taking her phone out from her pocket, Carlos starts driving and notices Sarah reading a book on her phone. "What are you reading there, love?" he asks, "A book" "What type of book?" He asks again. "It's Nanya" Sarah says "What's Nanya-" before he said anything, Sarah cut him off and says "Nanya business". He rolls his eyes and stops the car at a gas station "I need to change, be right back" Sarah looks up from her phone and asks "Why didn't you change at the apartment?" "Because I didn't have the correct clothes to wear there" he replies. "The correct clothes?" Sarah asks with a confused look on her face, "Yes love" He then got out of the car with a black bag and walked to the bathroom.

A few minutes pass by and Sarah had fallen asleep, Carlos knocked on the window waking Sarah up. "Huh?" She mumbled still trying to open both eyes, she looked over at the window and sees Carlos knocking. "Oh" she said and unlocked the door, "What time did you sleep last night, love?" Carlos asks closing the door "Like 2-3am" Sarah replies rubbing her eyes to wake up. Carlos sighs and says "You should stop sleeping late, Sarah." "Not my fault I can't sleep early" she replies tying her hair in a ponytail "You should learn to sleep early, also we're almost at my mom's house" Carlos said arriving at his mother's place.
