FT 52

It was relatively early in the morning when Y/N received a message from Jeongyeon while she was doing work at the library asking her to come to Park Modelling Management's main office.

So she takes out her phone to tell her wife about her whereabouts and plans for the rest of the day before she takes the bus to get to the Park's building.

When she was about a few meters away from the reception, she frowns in confusion when she sees Jeongyeon already waiting for her.

And when she goes past the reception and into the hallways and different offices, she could feel several scrutinising glances directed to her by the staff. Some looked as if they were impressed, yet some looked critical of her.

"Should I be scared?" Y/N asks Jeongyeon in hushed tones when she approaches her hesitantly.

Jeongyeon looks up briefly from frantically typing on her her phone, "Nope. Quite the opposite. Actually, it depends on your relationship with her, which you still haven't told me."

"Why are people staring at me?— Wait what are you even talking about?" At this point, Y/N was only running on one banana and a protein shake, and this lack of information was irritating her.

"Minatozaki Fragrance! They've contacted us to negotiate a contract for you to become their ambassador!" Jeongyeon grabs ahold of both her shoulders, shaking her like a maraca as she grinned like a cheshire cat.

Everyone knew Minatozaki Fragrance was the epitome of luxury and quality in the fragrance industry. It would only make sense that the people they choose to work with would be A-listers, or people that they thought seemed adjacent to their image.

Which is why when talks of Y/N, Park Jihyo's newly signed rookie, potentially becoming the ambassador of Minatozaki Fragrance's new campaign spread inside the building, everyone was disoriented and seemed to be in a flurry of confusion yet also interest.

It was too unusual, and too early for someone like Y/N to be handed a job like that.

No one expected the Minatozaki's to be interested in signing the rookie.

This was obviously another risk, but it wasn't necessarily a risk for Park Jihyo, but for the current CEO of Minatozaki Fragrance, Sana.

Who knows if the money they'll invest on Y/N would pay off?

Y/N could feel her eye twitch as she lets Jeongyeon's words sink into her brain.

This is getting messy!

It seemed like the more she tried to avoid getting involved with Sana, the more the universe pushed her towards the Minatozaki vicinity.

And don't even get Y/N started with her wife's unpredictable reaction when she hears about her getting a job at her currently ex-bestie's empire.

Not when Mina's been avoiding to talk to Sana for months now every time Y/N asked her if she had plans to reconcile with her soon.

"Jeongyeon, stop messing with me before I kick your pretty face. Too hungry for this." Y/N brushes Jeongyeon's hold off her shoulders, grumbling as she lets out a sigh.

"I'm not joking! The legal team literally called me in to look into the contract they sent, and the last thing we talked about was sending in paperwork for Park Jihyo to sign." Jeongyeon pulls her to walk with her towards her office inside the building.

And once they had privacy, Jeongyeon quite literally shoves her phone screen towards Y/N's face.

Y/N groans before getting ahold of the phone screen, and maybe she should believe Jeongyeon because she could feel her heart dropping to her ass and her eyes threatening to explode from her eye sockets as she reads the words 'Endorsement and Artist Agreement', and 'Paragon' in bold print.
