Sirius propped the teen against a rock; she looked horrible and was swaying like a drunkard.

"Unbelievable," huffed Sirius through his teeth, "stay there, don't move," he ordered, summoning power as his eyes glowed softly.

Daisy merely hunched over and clutched her head; Sirius eyed her for a moment, he still wasn't sure of the limitations on her powers or how far she was willing to go. Or even if his persuasion would work on her this time.

For a 17-year-old she had all the evasive skills of a cockroach.

Sirius' hand twitched with irritation as he strode over to the other teen and surveyed the damage with a grim face.

"Christ, she really did a number on you," he whistled, grabbing Kane's chin and inspecting his nose.

It was obviously broken and a spout of blood gushed out which Kane ever so helpfully was catching in his hands and then dumping on the ground.

Gregor chuckled and tossed Kane a rag that was in his pocket.

Sirius quirked an eyebrow at him and Gregor shrugged, "it's my burp rag for the kids," he explained.

Kane gagged and pushed the rag away.

Sirius shoved it back into his face, "tilt up," he said brusquely, "it's clean, probably."

"So what's the plan now?" asked Gregor, eyeing the blood fountain with a grimace.

Sirius pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed, "you take my bike back to Lila, tell her to get ready for this mess. I'll get these two on the bus and we'll be right behind you."

Gregor whistled through his teeth, "risky move there don't you think?"

Sirius narrowed his eyes, "we'll sit in the blind spot," was all he said.

"Alright, let's move."

As Gregor got on his motorcycle and drove away, Sirius hooked his arm under Daisy's, "hey can you walk ok?" he asked, she hadn't moved so that meant either a: she wasn't actually impervious to his power, or b: she was too hurt to move.

Daisy nodded, her face was pale and her eyes were darting back and forth.

She made it to the bus stop without passing out or falling which Sirius considered a win. Kane had trailed behind while blatantly failing to staunch his bleeding nose.

Sirius sat Daisy down on the bench and then grabbed the rag from Kane.

"This'll hurt," he said bluntly before pressing down on the uneven ridge of Kane's nose and straightening it. There was a sickening click as the bone angled back into position.

Kane yelped and grabbed onto the pole behind him with slick bloody hands.

Quickly, Sirius used one hand to rip off a piece of Gregor's burp rag, roll it up and stuff it into Kane's nose to hold it straight until Lila could put a proper splint in it.

Immediately the cloth was drenched in blood and began to trickle in a steady stream down his chin.

Kane made a disgusted face and Sirius shoved the cloth into his face again.

"Head back, idiot." he barked.

At that moment the bus pulled up and Sirius took a deep breath before hauling Daisy up on one arm and grabbing Kane with the other.

Both of them looked on the verge of death.

Lovely.

The bus door swung open and Sirius swallowed tightly and then climbed up the steps.
