" okay make it work! i don't care! " mariah snapped making all of her friends look at her like she had lost her mind.
" it's yo fucking car! mad ass lit'girl! " kd yelled back at her.
she had been on a rage bender since new year's day. everything was smooth sailing after christmas and once they got back.
with a few days to spare before new year's, mariah thought she could spend most of her time with kaleb at his new house. but kaleb told her the only way for her spend anymore extra time with him, he needed her to answer his question.
mariah just didn't want to feel as if she was moving too fast with kaleb. so her decision left her upset and more dysfunctional than usual.
no answer. no kaleb.
" ok kelldrick. " mariah sighed as she closed her eyes for a second. " how about you just stay instead of joe? "
kd kissed his teeth before looking around the whole car. they were making a walmart run for danielle and they all wanted to ride with mariah.
londyn scooted over getting a little more comfortable with her window seat in the back. kameron scoffed as she sat in the front seat, waiting on them to get settled.
ben looked off as he sat in the middle and kd and joe were both fighting over the last spot.
" well lap tha' fuck up then. " kameron blurted out making mariah laugh for the first time since they had been in the car.

" oh my jesus ten scoot over. " londyn huffed as she sat up from her spot. " hurry tha' fuck up nigga! " she rushed him making him mug her.
" yo bald head ass shoulda' been tha' one who stayed. " ben mushed her head as she sat in his lap.
kd sat back in the middle with a bright smile as he got comfortable.
" goofy ass. " mariah laughed as she finally got ready to pull off.

" pull em' back stupid. " kaleb said to kendell as he tried helping him set up his new bed frame.
" nigga i am not bob da' builder. " kendell mumbled as he assembled the last piece.
" wun' even that hard. " kaleb chuckled as he turned to grab the box spring from his left.
it was only the tenth day of the new year and he was already doing busy work to keep his mind from racing.
he knew if he got alone with his thoughts they would eat him alive and that was something he was trying to control this year.
the doorbell ringing made kaleb look back towards the hallway, leaving the box spring to fall back on kendell.
" bitch you coulda' killed me! " kendell yelled as he struggled to get from under it.
