The Mikaelson's Real Mother

Chapter 4

Once Astrid burns her sister's body she turns back to her kids.

"Now tell me where my husband is." Astrid said to Elijah.

"He's in Charlotte, North Carolina." Elijah told her.

"Thank you. I'll meet you there." Astrid said before teleporting to North Carolina.

She appears in front of a cemetery and waits for a bit before she hears footsteps. She looks to see her children. Lydia hands her a blood bag and Astrid walks inside. She sees a coffin and stares at it before opening it. Once she does she sees Mikael's body with chains wrapped around him. Mikael's eyes open and stares at her. She uses her magic to get rid of the chains.

She sets the blood bag on his chest and steps back. She waits for a few seconds before she is pinned to the wall.

"Who are you!?" Mikael demands.

"Memento!" Astrid said and Mikael falls to the ground.

Soon he stands back up and stares at Astrid in a loving way. He speeds over to her and kisses her. They kiss for ten more seconds before they put their foreheads together.

"I missed you my love." Astrid mumbles.

"Me too. I'm so sorry about everything." Mikael said and they hug before walking outside to be greeted by their children.

Mikael notices the new kids and looks at Astrid.

"I adopted them. I have four more but they are in the woods because of their werewolf side." Astrid explains.

"Ah." Mikael said with a nod of his head.

He notices Klaus standing a bit away and walks over to him. When he got close enough Klaus flinches a little.

"I'm sorry, Klaus. It wasn't my fault. It was Esther who made me do those things. I hope you forgive me." Mikael said before he's hugged by Klaus.

"It wasn't your fault. You were being controlled. I love you . . . . father." Klaus said.

"Let's go home." Astrid said appearing next to her husband.

"Let's." Mikael said.

"Everyone grab hands." Astrid said and everyone does so.

Astrid teleports them back to Mystic Falls inside the house they live in. They walked in and the children head to their rooms.

"Please get a good night's rest. You have school tomorrow." Astrid said and they all nod.

"What should we tell the school about Scott, Isaac and Malia?" Lydia asks.

"The same lie we use every month. That something in their family has made them very sick. Dean or Sam one of you need to call the grill telling Derek's boss he's very sick." Astrid said and they all nod.

"And what about us?" Henrik asks.

"You'll also be sent to school. But the story is Mikael is my boyfriend. We've been dating for two years so far and you're his children from a different marriage. Your mother abused you and he got full custody of you all." Astrid said and they all nod.

"I'll take them to their rooms mother." Lydia and Alison say together.

"Of course. Children follow your sisters and they'll give you your rooms." Astrid said and they follow the two.

"How long have you been with mother?" Rebekah asks the two.

"We've been with Astrid for four years so far. She rescued us. We were abandoned by our parents except Isaac, he was abused by his father ever since he was young." Lydia said.
