Lunanie: Huh?
Frederica: I noticed it to. Not only that but things are getting moved around.
Beatrice: This room makes it impossible for me to find Subaru. At the same time it's like he's right next to me. This magic isn't something that can easily handled.
Lunanie: so...what do we do?
Garfiel: We gotta keep looking of course.
Beatrice: he's right actually. There has to be a weak area. Even if it's little bit weaker, I can free us from this spell.
Emilia: mhm
Lunanie: Let's go!
[Meanwhile]
Alex: What is this? A trap?
Naomasa: No but I'm not the real one. However if you with to fight Yoshimitsu you can. I know you have been holding back tremendous demon power within you. Even now the blood lust can be felt.
Alex:...
Naomasa: if you do this then that will spear everyone else from having to fight him as well. Not to mention you can go all out without the fear of hurting them.
Alex: Hm?!
Naomasa: It's up to you of course.
Alex: I'll take this opportunity.
He walks over to the door and begins to open it.
Alex: Also they made a promise to help you.
Naomasa: Hm?
Alex: They will keep their word.
He walks through without hesitation.
Naomasa: (Don't make promises that can't be kept.)
The real Naomasa now faces Subaru,Kajah and Thanatos.
Naomasa: Hmph. You two I need to capture. You though I can kill.
Thanatos: You can try. Don't think you are the first to try and kill me.
Naomasa: No but, I'll be the first to succeed.
Thanatos: Hm. So confident but, how long will this confidence last.
Kajah: we can do this.
Subaru: With the three of us we definitely can.
Thanatos: No.
Subaru: Huh?
Thanatos: This is something I need to do alone.
Kajah: Why?
Thanatos: I've always wanted to fight legends. I've fought many in my past. However I've herd of Valkyrie's. I tried searching for them for so long but nothing. Now that I am faced with one.
He summons his scythe and aimed it at her.
Thanatos: I will not pass this opportunity.
Subaru: WHAT?!
Kajah: You're joking right?!
Thanatos: I'm serious. When the time is right Kajah and Subaru, look for a way to free her. This should give you time to find out what binds her here alright?
Subaru: Huh?
Kajah: I see...fine but you better not die.
Thanatos: No promises but I'll try.
He steps forward hiding his still messed up right arm.
Thanatos: Let's begin shall we.
Naomasa: I hope you're ready for this.
She summons her lance and readies herself to charge.
Naomasa: Ready?
Thanatos: gets into his stance with his scythe.
Naomasa: heh.
She charges him at full speed but, he was able to block the attack despite getting pushed back from the impact.
Thanatos: *ngh* (Dam!)
The two deflected each other's attacks several times in a row. For a while they seemed evenly matched.
Naomasa: (He's definitely strong. However he's hiding his right arm. Let's aim for that.)
Her attacks changed and was now focused on his injured arm.
Thanatos: (What is she doing? Wait...she going for my arm?!)
After finding out what she was going for, he mad a drastic decision.
Thanatos: Going for my arm I see.
Naomasa: Hm?!
Thanatos: I can tell by your attack pattern. Before you didn't aim to the right side like you are now. Allow me to show you why I'm known as Demon of Death.
Naomasa: What?!
He pulls off his damage arm and throws it to the side.
Naomasa: Huh?!
Kajah: UNCLE!!
Subaru: What the hell? WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?!
Thanatos: Silence, this is my fight.
His right eye glows red and his aura spikes drastically.
Naomasa: (What is this? He gained more power from ripping his arm off?)
Thanatos: Let's continue.
He attacks first cracking her lance.
Naomasa: NGH! (His attacks!)
He attacks with more speed and strength. A pure black aura starts coming from his body.
Kajah: What is that?
Subaru: I set it to...that's not mana or Yin.
Kajah: What the hell is that aura?
Naomasa: (Heh...he's special alright.)
She rapidly attacks however he avoids each one with lightning speed reaction making afterimages.
Naomasa: (Taking off his arm gave him this much power?) heh guess I underestimated you after all.
Thanatos: Happens a lot.
They get distance and she points her spear to the sky.
Naomasa: HAAAA!!!
Her lance breaks revealing a halberd type lance with a large blade on both ends.
Thanatos: Hm!
She quickly attacks hitting him despite his incredible speed and strength.
Thanatos: *tisk* I'm not done.
He puts his scythe in his mouth and summons the scythe that once belonged to Germory.
Kajah: No way.
Subaru: With his mouth?!
Naomasa: What the?!
Thanatos: *demon growls* not done!
He charges her and unleashes a borage of deadly power attacks. Once again he matched her.
Naomasa: (It's like...he's getting stronger the longer we fight.) Hm?!
Thanatos: Reaper's Judgment.
She quickly blocks his incredibly powerful attack that cuts several pillars around her. Her weapon is cut in half as well as her helmet.
Naomasa: (What was that attack?!)
Thanatos slowly walks to her emanating the same black aura. His right eye glowing blood red.
Thanatos: What's wrong? Thought you were gonna beat me?
Naomasa: *tisk* Demon Order Naomasa.
Her armor changed into a black and red design. Her weapon repaired and her aura now more menacing.
Naomasa: Let's try this again.
Thanatos: Hmph.
With incredible speed she dashed towards him. He quickly changed the weapon in his hand to the one in his mouth and attempted to block her powerful attack.
Thanatos: *NGH!!!*
Subaru and Kajah: THANATOS!!!
The attack broke his scythe and pierced his stomach going through him.
Naomasa: I'm surprised you're still standing.
She quickly removed her weapon making a large amount of blood gush from his wound.
Thanatos: *coughs up blood and heavy breathing* Not...bad.
Naomasa: Hm?
Thanatos: but that wasn't enough to kill me.
He calls his other scythe and attacks several time. He misses his attacks and she counters slashing him several more times before bringing him down to one knee.
Naomasa: You gave it your all Thanatos but, I'm sorry to say you're not strong enough.
She walks past him and in doing so allowed him to see her back.
Thanatos: (I see...now I understand. That mark is the same design as Yoshiro's and the twins.)
Kajah: UNCLE! Dam  it!
Subaru: HAAA!!!
Thanatos: DO NOT ATTACK HER!
Subaru and Kajah: What?!
Naomasa: What?
Thanatos: I was curious on how effective your attacks are. Im not impressed.
Naomasa: What did you say?
He stands up and unleashes a powerful amount of mana and yin.
Kajah: What?
Subaru: he has that much mana left?
Thanatos: Death God Thanatos.
He wounds fully healed and his broken scythe now repaired and all black  giving off the same dark aura. The weapon Germory gave him now changed into an all red double bladed Scythe similar to Ava's berserk one but gives off a more menacing aura.
Thanatos: now you have to actually try hard Naomasa.
Naomasa: *tisk* (He was hiding this power the entire time?)
Thanatos: Now then, let's actually try this again.
Naomasa: Hm?!
She quickly blocks his attacks despite seeing him still standing away from her.
Naomasa: What is this?
He materialized before her eyes while his apparition disappears.
Naomasa: What move is that?!
Thanatos: Hm.
She avoids and blocks several more attacks however, she was starting to have trouble keeping up with his unknown speed.
Naomasa: (I don't understand...he's moving so much faster than before. It's actually almost similar to Yoshiro's but, how?!)
They clash and are now in a power struggle situation.
Naomasa: *Ngh*
Thanatos: (Did they not see the mark in her back? I wonder...) I'm disappointed.
Naomasa: Huh?
Thanatos: You are supposed to be a powerful legendary warrior. Yet you have not been living up to my expectations.
Naomasa: Wh? WHAT DID YOU SAY?!
Thanatos: I guess I can understand why you aren't as strong. You are the last of your kind after all. So I can only imagine what happened to the rest of your kind.
Kajah: Uncle...Isn't that...extreme?
Subaru: That was...a low blow.
Naomasa:...Take that back. TAKE THAT BACK RIGHT NOW!!!
Kajah: Hm? (wait is that?) Subaru Look.
Subaru: Hm? Oh I see it. (Her back...that mark.)
Kajah: now I understand.
Thanatos: Make me. You don't have the power to.
Naomasa: GRRRR YOU DO HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT IM CAPABLE OF!!!
DEMON VALKYRIE NAOMASA SCARLET!!!
Thanatos: Hm!
He backs up just in time to avoid a powerful tower of light that turned into darkness.
She walks out with a duel ended spear and a large halberd. Her armor white and black. The symbol on her back now glowing bright red.
Naomasa:I can't forgive you for saying that about my family.
Thanatos: That's better, come and face Death with honor.
The two clash creating a shockwave. The both unleashed incredible attacks that were so powerful, the area was actually getting destroyed.
Kajah: Subaru.
Subaru: Yah?
Kajah: We need to wait for an opportunity. Then we attack at once. I'll use Utopia and get rid of that curse.
Subaru: Mhm got it. I'll use future sight to find that opportunity.
Kajah: sounds good. Shadow Knight should be able to get to her without drawing too much attention.
Subaru: Thanatos...be careful.
Naomasa: HAAAAAA!!!
Thanatos: (I'll have to wound her in order for them to make a move. I have to break my limits to do that. Problem is...can I handle that power?)
