While Thanatos and Naomasa faught, Alex had his own battle as well.
Yoshimitsu: So you're the one that wants to challenge me. Didn't I see you before?
Alex: You. Tell me what was the point in hurting everyone that night?
Yoshimitsu: Hm? I despise humanity. They all tried to get in my way so, I simply took care of them.
Alex: You hurt Felix and everyone else he cared about. Now he won't wake up.
Yoshimitsu: Because I have part of their souls.
Alex: Huh?
Yoshimitsu: I can take souls and devour them. However I decided to hold on to these after getting told one of them belonged to someone named Felix. A very close friend of yours.
Alex:...
Yoshimitsu: I shall give you their souls if you have what it takes to beat me.
Alex: Very well.
Yoshimitsu: Good good then, let's begin.
Alex: hm!
Alex gets kicked hard and into the wall.
Yoshimitsu: Demon Order Yoshimitsu.
Without waisting time he turns into his third form and charges him unleashing devastating attacks. However Alex is in a state of conviction.
Alex: (Using this...will I lose myself again? I came all this was to avenge him and everyone else yet I'm unable to go all out. Why is that?)
Then he just remembered everything about Felix. The times spent and how that will not happen because of Yoshimitsu and Genesis.
Alex: Now I remember...
Yoshimitsu: Hm?!
He backs up from him as his aura completely changed into something menacing.
Blood began flowing from his eyes his body began changing and a hole began growing where his heart was supposed to be.
Yoshimitsu: What is this now?
Alex: Yes...I know why I can here now.
He began turning more and more into an actual demon. Horns began growing from his head two and both side with one in the middle. His arms in a strange black and red form and his nails into claws. His hair now slightly longer and Grey. His weapon began cracking and crumbling.
Yoshimitsu: This aura...(why does it resemble Genesis so closely?!)
Alex: Awaken from your sleep Zhanmadao.
His halberd completely shatters revealing an extremely long two handed sword. He however uses it with one hand with ease. Six wings emerges from his back. Three demon and three angel wings. His eyes now that of a Demon God's similar to Genesis. He runs his hand through his hair and slightly tilts his head looking over at Yoshimitsu with one glowing red eye.
Alex: Make this interesting for me.
Yoshimitsu: !!!
Before he could react, he was cut several hundred times. Then looks behind him to see Alex standing there looking at his left hand.
Yoshimitsu: (What's going on?)
Alex: I'm loving this power already. Why didn't I use it sooner?

Naomasa: HAAAAAAA!!!
Thanatos: (If I get hit...she will definitely kill me. I have to be perfect with every move I make now.)
He counters and blocked everything she used against him. Even powerful light beams capable of melting almost anything. She unleashes a powerful deadly 360 attack in all directions then launches herself into the air before landing with her lance. He was able to block the impact of her attack making them have an intense power struggle. The ground beneath him began to break and the force of her attack was getting more intense as she attempts to thrust her lance into his chest.
Thanatos: (Dam!)
Naomasa: DIIIIIIIE!!!
Crack!
Thanatos: *tisk* (No time to guess.)
He mad his decision and the pure black aura that was in his scythe went into his body.
Naomasa: What?!
She backs up and could tell that the entire area changed.
Beatrice stops and could sense the pressure and presence of an extremely powerful spirit.
Lunanie: Everything on Beatrice?
Beatrice:...Death?
Emilia: Huh?
Kajah: (What is this sense of dread?)
He looks up to see what was once his uncle now a flotation large cloak with bones for hands.
Kajah: That darkness I saw before...it's...completely covering his body.
Naomasa: (What is he?)
She looks at him to see that he has no face. Just pure darkness where his face should be.
Naomasa: *ngh* HAAA!!!
She sends several spears of light but, they go directly through the strange smoke like cloak.
Naomasa: What are you?
Death: I am, Death.
Naomasa: *gasp* (No he's not joking. How the hell did he achieve this?!)
He reaches into his sleeve and pulls out a long rod.
Death: I shall cast judgment on the damed.
Kajah: SUBARU DONT MOVE AND PUT YOUR WAPONS AWAY!
He instantly does and the area becomes colder than ice.
Naomasa: Wh-
Before she could react his finger was on her forehead.
Death: All theses memories. I see, you poor tormented soul. Allow me to free you from this damnation.
The rod turns into a large black and double bladed scythe with a red blade that has souls moving throughout it.
Kajah: (Now!)
He quickly dashes towards her exposed back and prepares to cut the curse. At the same time Thanatos who is now Death attacks with one powerful swing of his scythe above her head. Kajah uses the purification attack of Utopia allowing him to become immune to Death's dark powers.
Kajah: Tha- I mean Death. What did you cut?
Death: This little thing.
He holds up a large demon parasite with a skull for a head.
Subaru: W-WHAT IS THAT?!
Death: It's a parasite used to make the strong willed suffer. The stronger the individual the worse the torment will become. Oh and also.
The cloak shrank and started to form a person. The boned hands had flesh on them again and he removed the black hood.
Thanatos: You can call me Thanatos still.
Subaru: So...is that your new power?
Thanatos: Yes, and my new scythe. I can combine mine and Germory's to create this one. This is also how I was able to achieve such a form.
Subaru and Kajah: SO COOOOL!
Thanatos: Eh?
Beatrice: Found them.
The confusing illusion disappears allowing the others to meet again.
Garfiel: Nice one Beatrice.
Beatrice: it was nothing I suppose.
Kajah: Huh? Beatrice that was-
Subaru: *Pist* Let her think she did it ok Kajah?
Kajah: mhm mhm mhm. Nice Beatrice! I'm glad you kept everyone safe.
Beatrice: Hmph I suppose it was an easy job. This spell was nothing after all.

Thanatos: She's sleeping.
Lunanie: Thanatos what are you wearing!
Thanatos: Sorry I had a change do to do the new power. I'm fine don't worry, however.
He picks up the unconscious Valkyrie and carries her in his arms.
Thanatos: She's been through a lot. I can take her back but I won't be able to help you all fight Yoshiro. Will you all be ok?
Rem: mhm. Don't worry we can get through.
Thanatos: I can take Ava back to.
Frederica: I'll go back with Garfiel.
Garfiel: HUH?!
Frederica: Garfiel...we're both very weak. You took a beating getting up here. We both have. If we go further on to fight the first ranked Disciple, we will definitely die.
Garfiel:*tisk* Yah...(Hate to admit it but if we had trouble with the lower ranks...I can only imagine him.) Alright then.
Frederica: Rem you should come to.
Rem: *shakes her head in disagreement* I promised to be by Kajah's side no matter what. I'll be with him till the end.
Kajah: Rem...
Frederica: Emilia you-
Emilia: I'm not gonna run away. I'm with Subaru to see this through. Right Subaru?
Subaru: Emilia you? Heh you really are cute.
Emilia: *blush* y-you can't say that.
Thanatos: Hm I see. Very well then. Frederica,Garfiel let's go. I'll clear the path. Everyone else good luck.
Wrath: *Sigh*
Thanatos: Wrath? How's your mana situation?
Wrath: I'll be fine. No way I'm missing this. Besides one of us has to stay with these two idiots.
Kajah: Huh!
Subaru: Look who's talking.
Wrath: Eh? Wanna say that again kid?!
Lunanie: Hmph. No fighting.

Wrath: You got yourself a nice wife now I see.
Everything get quite for a second.
Thanatos:No.
Wrath: Oh? Your face is red.
Thanatos: Let's go now good luck everyone by brother Frederica and Garfiel grab on and let's go.
He quickly jumps out with the two siblings and lands hard killing several demons without harming himself and anyone else.
Frederica: This is a lot of demons in our way.
Garfiel: *Tisk* I can't do anything with her on my back.
Thanatos: Frederica.
Frederica: hm?
He gives her Naomasa and tells them to stay behind him at all times.
Garfiel: Huh? What are you doing?
Thanatos: Death.
He turns into Death once again and starts floating slowly to the portal. Every demon that came within ten feet of them instantly died. All spells were completely erased as well.
Frederica: What incredible power.
Death: We are almost there. Hm?
Before they could go through, they were stopped by a ghost of Yoshiro.
Yoshiro: We're are you going?
Death: Even you can't escape from me Yoshiro. Do you really want to draw your weapon around me?
Yoshiro: I'm no fool.
Death: Then what do you want.
Yoshiro: Tell me, what will happen next?
Death: The path you have taken will lead to your death. That's all there is to it.
Yoshiro: I see...so I get to be free. Thanks I appreciate it. Doesn't mean I'm gonna go easy on them.
Death: Do what you must.
Yoshiro: Hmph.
His gosh disappeared without a trace and the three walked through with the two sleeping girls safely.

Yoshiro: *opens his eyes* So I do meet my end here. Hmph how fitting to fall in this castle once again.
