Chapter 3: New Rose

"H-how is this happening?" I muttered. Great. Even my voice was sounding like her. I got up to brush down my jeans, but my clothes were replaced with a very small (and slightly tight) red dress. My precious Converse had morphed into knee-high red and white boots. I moaned in protest. Now what? Should I call for help? Should I wait?

I decided the best thing to do was at least take a walk to clear my mind. I was about to walk in an opposite direction when someone shouted, "Amy, wait!"

I hesitated. I forgot that my name isn't really Cake anymore. Slowly, I turned, and my jaw dropped. Standing there was a fox. It was no ordinary Fox, of course. It was sort of an orangish-yellow with white tufts of fur. That wasn't the real surprise. The fox had two tails . It was Miles.

"Uh... Hey, Tails! What's up?" I decided not to tell him I'm not Amy. Not yet. Even I wouldn't have believed it, and I still think I don't anyway.

Tails had waved me over. "Amy, you gotta come help. Eggman's at it again... He's been pretty quiet for a while, so I'm thinking he's planned something pretty bad... Sonic said he could handle it, but I'm starting to doubt that he can. He's already heading over there... "

I immediately lit up. Meeting Sonic and defeating Eggman in real life? Yeah, that's pretty amazing. "Alright, I'll go help. Hopefully this isn't as hard as it looks..."

Tails shot me a quizzical look, but let it past. "Okay... Well, they're off over in that direction. Good luck!" he pointed to a large group of trees.

"On it." nodding a goodbye, I dashed off into the forest. It's not how it seems... Of course, I have no clue what I'm doing. Or what I'm in for.
