Chapter 5

TRIS POV
I hit the 'net', very hard. I yell out in pain. My right shoulder slammed right where someone's knuckles were. When I scream it sounds like a bellowing monster, maybe a little higher pitched though. I am breathing heavy but I'm still breathing so I should be grateful.
Then I see Tobias. He stands there looking at me and suddenly helps me up. I gasp as I hear and feel my shoulder popping. "We need to run Tris" he says. "let's go then" I say, I will have to show him how grateful I am just to see him later.
For now we run toward the fence. Are we going back to the compound? Did our mission get fully accomplished? I have so many questions for everyone. Maybe when we are safe I will get some answers. Heh, safe is a foreign concept to us but maybe I will understand what it means when I finally settle down with Four.
After reaching the fence I stop and state for a while. Just looking at it until someone says something "come on, hurry" I start to run again and it turns out we have perfect timing. Right as we all get there I see the train, everyone makes it on successfully. I sit down panting, when I see something out of the corner of my eye.
Tobias. I look at him and grab his shirt in my fist. I pull him close and kiss him, I missed him so much.
"I missed you so much Tris" he says
"I missed you too Tobias" is all I can say as I smile back at him.
" Time to jump off we are at the compound" Some guy yells through the wind.
" Let's go." Is all I say.

TOBIAS POV
I try to wipe the goofy grin off my face but it hard. I have Tris back and I couldn't be happier.
We jump off the train onto the roof of the dauntless compound. I don't land on my feet but I roll so that it doesn't hurt my knees.
I noticed Tris cringing when her shoulder hits the roof, I hope she's okay. I walk over and grab her hand. I start walking towards the net because we have to go down that way.
" Will you go down with me?" I ask.
" Of course." She responds.
We climb onto the ledge, I look over at her and we jump. Me holding her in my arms.
We hit hard and I help her climb down. Her shoulder looks bruised so I ask her,
" What happened to your shoulder?"
" I just hit someone's knuckle it's fine"
" Are you sure, I think we should go down to the infirmary since it's still open. What do you think?"
" Ok fine but only because you want me to." She says with a smirk.
" Let's go stiff." I joke with her. She gives a shy smile. After a couple seconds of comfortable silence she says,
" I have a couple of questions."
" Ask away Tris, I bet you have tons"
" Well first I have to ask, was the whole thing successful? I mean I know that my portion of it was successful but what about all of it? "
" Yep everything was completely successful, except you getting kidnaped obviously. "
" Really I thought that was part of our plan? " It's these moments that I remember just how young we truly are. We have just been through so much- my thoughts are interrupted when we enter the infirmary. I hope nothing is wrong with Tris's shoulder.

Whale. Ok so I got an alert saying I have 100 reads but then I check and I still only have 27 but my phone is old and not updated so maybe that's it. Idk.

I honestly need and internet friend for against the current. They posted a video for Dreaming Alone finally but now I think they should do something for Fireproof.
