ashley and y/n were sitting on the swing at the park talking about random things. ashley makes a bet that if she can beat y/n with how far they can swing they will have to buy them both ice cream. ashley starts swinging herself back and forth. she gets so high she feels like the swing is go over the top so she slows down and jumps off. "HAHA BITCH I WON LETS GO GET ICECREAM NOW" ashley yells in excitement. "okay okay" they reply. "cmon let's go get you that icecream" they smile. as they were walking ashley steps up and says, "sorry i shouldn't have called you a bitch i hope i didn't upset you" y/n stops and looks at her with confusion. "upset me? ashley you could never upset me" they turn while smiling and just kept walking. "you're not upset?" ashley asks. "why would i be?" they ask. "oh i don't know i just thought-" ashley gets cut off by y/n saying "you just thought ashley,trust me i'm not mad:)" they continue to walk to icecream shop. they get there in about 5 minutes and y/n asks ashley what she wants. "vanilla please:)" ashley replies. "hi can i get one strawberry icecream cone and one vanilla icecream cone please" y/n asks. the employee nods and gets to making. in less than 5 minutes they had their icecreams and they were walking back to the park. they get there and go back on the swings by now ashley had already almost finish her icecream cone. they were talking for a bit and realized that they both finished their icecream and ashley offers to throw their garbage away. she walks over with the trash and puts it in the nearby bin. she walks back over and sits back down. "hey i know this is probably a weird question but uh do you happen to like...girls..?" she asks looking down at her feet. "yep i do" they reply with a soft and warm smile. "oh..:) so do i" she replies. "so what's with the sudden question ash is there something you want to tell me?;)" (btw that emoticon is not used for a sexual way it's just them teasing ashley) " uh yeah um i kinda do.." ashley says. "shoot it" y/n replies. "uhm i kinda like really like you and i know this is really sudden cause we have only been friends for like a couple of months but i just really really like you and it's okay if you don't like me back. and you don't have to be my friend anymore if you think it's weird-" ashley's rant was cut off by y/n kissing ashley on the lips. "i like you too ash" they say as they part lips. the woman was too stunned to speak. (ifykyk) "holy shit you do??" ashley's says smiling. "yup i do" y/n says with a smile. ashley was like baffled. y/n starts to laugh and ashley laughs along with them. it was a great night they ended up walking home together well until ashley's house then they parted ways. but before,ashley hugs them and gives them a kiss. "so uh do you wanna be my partner?:)" she asks. "i would love too" they reply. ashley smiles and walks into her house. she walks up to her room and just sits there to process everything. she smiles and gets ready for bed. this was the best day of her life.
