The mini stories you choose affect Mario and Meggy's overall mood marked by
this:
<Mood> Up / Down + / - (number)
Example:
Mario <Mood> Up +2
Meggy <Mood> Down -1
This will appear at the start and end of every mini story you choose, including throughout the storyline as their experiences affect them.
Your choice of mini stories will affect their relationship and overall attitude towards one another throughout the entirety of the book.
Each character starts with a mood of +5.
At the end, if both moods are good enough, Mario and Meggy will have a good ending.
(10-18)
If mood is even higher than average, then it'll be a great ending.
(19+)
If mood is too low, however, between one of them, it could result in a bad ending.
(0-9)
Every story will have its ups and downs, but choose carefully, some stories have more downs than ups...
