"Bella. Please, please, please let me take you to school?" Bella caved quickly at her brother's pleading. It wasn't often she could say no to him no matter what he did. Especially not over something as simple as driving her to school.

Ben walked out of the Swan household almost instantly spotting the matte black jeep wrangler that was gifted to him by an old mentor.

Bella looked at it with her mouth agape, there was no way Ben had enough money to pay for a car like this.

"She's glorious ain't she?" Ben's accent changed slightly, almost as if he was talking to the Irish man who had given him the vehicle.

The drive was quick as a result of Ben speeding the whole way there, he was excited to have his car back - that's for sure.

"Have a good day Bella." Ben spoke, however, he quickly pulled his sister back into the car.

"Wait, is that a Cullen? I didn't meet him the other day." His golden eyes and pale skin were telling the story of a Cullen - a vampire.

Bella responded, "oh yeah, that's Jasper I forgot you didn't meet him with the rest of them."

Hastily leaving the car, as not to be pulled back again, Bella took off towards Edward and his siblings.

Jasper and Ben kept continuous eye contact until a gunshot resonated, except there was no gun.

Ben looked over at Lily with anger, she had aimed at his car with one of her ice bullets. The bullet should've pierced the vehicle. It was almost as if an invisible field of sorts was stopping the ice.

Benjamin glared with all his might at Lily Cullen, it may be his fault she ended up so vampiric but that is no reason to repeatedly try and kill him.

Ben did the unthinkable.
He got out of the car and started walking towards Lily Cullen.

"What on Earth is your problem?" Ben was angry and aggressive. His temperature gradually rose; Jasper didn't know how to calm the boy.

Lily stayed silent, no doubt feeling the guilt as the teenagers in the parking lot freak out like a herd of gazelles.

Ben went to punch, only to be pulled back by a pair of cold clothed arms wrapping around his midsection.

Ben almost forcibly relaxed at the touch, he turned around.

"I'm sorry, I'd rather just not have you break your hand punching her." The southern drawl was evident in his voice.

He looked God-like, Ben could've sworn when he looked into those golden eyes he had his future. He had seen who he should and hopefully will be.

Jasper had not removed his arms from around Ben's waist, this did not go unnoticed by the Cullens or Benjamin.

The Bell sounded from the school PA system, this caused Jasper and Ben to split apart.

Trying to get back into his car, he was stopped - by running into a hard frame. Looking down he immediately started apologizing, he had run directly into Alice.

"It's okay Ben, no need to apologize." Alice often spoke with a smile on her face and warmth in her tone, this was no different.

Ben went to move around her, only to be held firmly in place by another Cullen tugging at the hem of shirt. He seemed to be popular today.
It was Jasper, that's what Bella had called him at least.

Ben looked at Jasper with sheer confusion written on his face. No explanation came, just Jasper holding on as if his life depended on it.

Ben continued to look, only seconds later seeming to formulate a plan.

The motion was quick, Ben grabbed Jasper's hand and started dragging him over to his car.

Ben had places to be, deals to make. Jasper might as well come with him.
