Sandra Hamilton
The three-day and two-night trip was fun and short. It was a relief from life and city stresses that each of us deserves to have every once in a while.
I sighed and decided to scroll down some of our photos together.
I couldn't help laughing at Lee whenever I saw his stolen photos which I took off during our lunch and snack time together. He was hilariously funny and there is really no dull moments with him.
Suddenly, my fingers and eyes rested on the woman who happened to be passing by in two or three photos of us.
I zoomed it in and I frowned thinking why she looks so oddly familiar and where have I seen her.
Her shoulder-length copper brown hair and slanted eyes along with her small lips tell me that I have seen her more than twice already.I groaned inwardly as my head ached again when I tried to remember when and where I have interacted with her.
"Oh, best!" Kristine exclaimed as soon as she saw me in my office while I was trying to process everything. I closed my eyes for a moment and breathed slowly.
"Ito, tubig. Sinubukan mo na naman bang alalahanin ang nakaraan mo?"I shook my head, my hands still on it. "No. I just thought I saw someone I know." I took the glass of water from her and drank it up.
Kristine just stared at me, looking unsure. "Wag ako, best. Don't me." She placed the glass back on top of my desk and sighed, "wag mong pilitin, girl. It will just come to you when you least expect it. Just don't try too hard."
I nodded and gave her a tight smile to assure her I am alright. "Tumawag na ba sila Miss Thonette? Has she given us the details for their Fashion Week?" I asked to divert our attention to other things.
Kristine nodded and she stood up from the chair across mine to get her clipboard where she took down the notes of errands and files she has with her. She unclipped a pink strip of paper and handed it to me.
"She gave it to me just a couple of minutes ago. Muntik pa nga niyang makalimutan kung hindi ko pa finallow-up." She said and exhaled.
"Makakalimutin talaga yung si Miss Thony." I commented and we giggled. "Alright. I will run down on their theme and will get back to you as soon as I'm done. Thanks, best!"
She nodded and left me alone. Before she was even out the door, she turned to face me, "half day pala ako ngayon, best. I forgot to tell you the other day. I have to visit Mom. Hindi raw dumarating sa scheduled appointments niya sa doctor niya."
"Sure thing, best. Just brief Reese on your errands today, if meron. Regards kay Tita." I said and she thanked me before she finally got out of my office.
I returned my attention to the pink note on my hand and focused on today's work load.

I smiled when I saw the photo of a family of five on my camera lens.
My day is ending early because I started it at eight. It's past four already and I had a lot of job done today.
Tomorrow is a scheduled photoshoot of one of the new celebrities yet in ZBW network. I, myself, is ecstatic about meeting her.
I heard she also struggled before she made it to the showbiz industry. She happened to be selling finger foods outside her school for four years and then she was discovered by a talent scout on her way home.
"Salamat ho." The mother smiled at me when I gave her change for their picture.
"Patingin, Ma!" Her oldest son, who seems to be in his late teens, exclaimed and his younger brothers flocked into him.
"Ang gwapo ko dyan!" The middle child exclaimed and they chuckled.
"Mas gwapo ako sayo no!" The youngest boasted and their parents laughed.
"Pogi kayong lahat. Mana kayo kaya sa akin!" Their father said as they went out of the studio.
"Oy, brad." My friend, Neil Sutton, distracted my attention as he pulled open the door. "Aga mo namang magsara."
"Maaga pa shoot bukas." I answered and checked the memory card of my camera.
"Balita ko, kauuwi mo lang galing bakasyon kasama si Sandy ah!" He commented and I nodded, no tearing my eyes off the monitor. "Wala man lang pasalubong?" He pouted and I rolled my eyes.
"Muka kang baliw. Nasa ref ang pasalubong." I said and he rushed to the fridge.
"Wow! Salamat, brad! Chichapop pa more!" He exclaimed and closed the fridge as soon as he got hold of the snacks.
"Takaw mo talaga!" I commented and he grinned at me.
"So, ano, kayo na?" He wiggled his eyebrows and I scoffed at him. "Bakit? Wala talaga? Hindi mo siya talaga type?"
"Kaibigan ko lang siya. May mahal na ako." I said and he sighed as he flopped on the cot at the window.
"Ano ba yan! Halata namang gusto ka niya. Yun pala, hindi kayo same feels!" He shook his head and munched on the snack.
"I just need to find her. She is all that I want. My friendship with Andra will remain intact." I said.
