                     THE ACCEPTANCE

Karthik's POV

I woke up feeling so fresh, so warm, it was so good feeling, I took my time to open my eyes only to realise that she has left. It was empty beside me. My mood changed drastically.

'She left without bidding me bye'

'atleast she could've woken me up, but no she just likes to get on my nerves'

'I have to do something about this habit of hers, she keeps irritating me, atleast she could've informed me, no she always does what she thinks is right'

'why did I had to fall for her?

she is not even that beautifull,

its just her eyes are mesmerising,

her nose so cute,

her lips it tempts me every time to taste it,

her smile so healing, it washes away all my worries,

her voice so sweet and soothing, blabbering whatever comes in her mind,

And her figure just perfect, the way she reacted to my touch it was so satisfying,

it's just that nothing much, I thought while day dreaming about her.

3rd person's POV

Jack came after sometime only to see his boss lost in his own world with a serene look on his face.

He teasingly asked karthik "you look like a human today, how come you have a peacefull look that too without your usual frown in face, what happened in my absence, did I miss something?"

Karthik just looked at him lazily and replied "shut up, don't ruin my mood with your nonsense".

Jack just smiled teasingly and prepared some fruit for him.

Karthik asked "When will they gonna discharge me?"

"May be in 2 hours after prescribing your final medications, till then Arohi will also reach here"

"I think you should start calling Arohi as Ma'am now or better Mrs. Raizada from now on"

To which apple fell from Jack's hands as he was peeling it for his boss saying "what? When did it happen? How come I don't know of this? You are so bad you didn't even told me about this?" and started crying dramatically while accusing him of being the ignorant person.

Karthik just rolled his eyes annoyed at him, then doctors entered his room and started doing their work.

Arohi while humming softly entered his room, only to find it empty "Did they leave already?" she pouted as she couldn't meet him.

When suddenly someone poked her from behind, she turned to see it was Karthik.

"You are late"

"Sorry, I got late due to traffic, thank God you didn't left yet I thought I missed it today" she said while feeling relieved.

He just shooked his head at her reply.
"Let's go, I wanna get the hell out of here"

Arohi smiled at his words and hesitantly tried to hold his left hand while biting her lips in nervousness thinking if he will get angry at her action.

Karthik was amused by her behaviour, the girl who used to greet him with a kiss, is shy to hold his hand.

He let out a small chuckle and holded her hand proplerly locking his fingers with hers.

And waited without moving, to which she got confused and asked "what?"

Karthik huffed and asked annoyingly "aren't you forgetting something? "

Arohi confusedly looked around but couldn't find anything which she forgot as per him, so she just shooked her head as if saying no.

So karthik thought 'fine, you wanna be like this, I'll teach you a good lesson'

And grabbed her chin pecking her lips he said "this, don't you dare to forget ever again"

Arohi blushed in realisation, as he was asking for her greeting kiss. It was her way of showing she loves him. Today he did it, she felt out of this world.

With that Karthik pulled her out with him, they both got out of hospital ready to leave in a car, which Jack will be driving.

Suddenly Karthik stopped and turned to look at hospital thinking 'this is the place where he lost his everything, and found his everything' and looked at Arohi.

Arohi as if understanding his emotion hugged him slowly putting her arms aorund his neck letting out some soothing words, which he accepted by heart by embracing her back.

They reached Karthik's penthouse. Karthik looked around curiously, and Jack filled him up with necessary details and appointed some maids to do all the chore of house.

Arohi looked at them and felt jealous because some of them were of young age.

She didn't want them around her man,  so she just told them to leave and no need to come back. Jack laughed at her reaction and Karthik smirked while feeling happy inside.

She ignored them both and went to kitchen to make him lunch as he said he liked foods made by her.

"Ma'am let us do it, just tell us what you want, we'll prepare it" one of the elder maid said.

Arohi just smiled kindly and replied "it's fine, I'll be making his food whenever I'm here, so you guys can help by doing other chores"

And Arohi continued to cook for her Karthik.

After freshening up Karthik came to kitchen in search of Arohi, there he got to inhale a very delicious aroma of  food prepared by her.

He got the homely feeling, and just continued gazing at her softly, she felt his eyes on hers, turned around only to find him in kitchen looking fresh.

She smiled at him and gestured him to come near and said "here, taste it for me" while spooning the dish.

His eyes widened at the taste "it's delicious"

She said "really, OK its ready to eat now, let me just set the table"

And they had luch together, Jack joined too.
