Chapter 37

Byulyi goes inside the elevator and pressed the button where the main hall is located. She tapped her fingers at the elevator's railings like she is an impatient-naughty kid. As the door opened, she quickly gets out and rushes outside the building, making her way to the bus stop.

The wind is hitting her black silky hair, the scenery is quite familiar. It reminds me that she's an actress shooting from a kdrama, approaching her loved one who got separated from a long time.

Byulyi stopped by, and waits at the bench. She gasped for air and an adult man offered her some water. Byulyi then smiled at the older man, and gladly took the water, bowing as a sign of thank you. "Thank you sir!" Her smile was wide and opened the cap, taking a few gulps and now she feel more cooler.

"Kids like you should be careful while you are outside." The man said and chuckled. "I was just in a rush, ahjusshi. My friends are waiting for me at the dorm." Byulyi looked at the man, she was quite weirded out by the start of the conversation.

"You must be a top student?" The man asked and Byulyi shakes her head. "Ah, no! I'm not that good and smart, but I'm hoping that I can reach the top too." She giggled and saw the bus arrived. "I'll get going, sir! Thank you for this!" She raised the bottle of water and enters inside the bus, finding herself a seat at the right row near the window. She then sits down and saw the man again, she waved goodbye and gave her best sweet smile.

Then the driving starts, Byulyi connected her earphones to her phone and started playing some random music.

At first she started to hum, but a tear fell down to her cheek.

"Appa.." She said and wiped her tears and sniffed, looking away from the window by distracting herself by messaging her dormmates. The messaging didn't last long, she fiddled her fingers and bites her lower lip, looking down at the floor, then down to her shoes. "I miss you dad." She whispered and smiled lightly, looking back at the window, but her eyes was focused on the sky.

"Should we start studying now?" Hyejin slammed all of her books down and burried her face through the pages. "Why does study exists anyway..?" Wheein whined and goes back to her bed, rolling around and around. "Let's wait for Byulyi, she said she'll be here by n-"

"Hey guys." Byulyi was right on time, she pulled the door open and gets inside their dorm. "What's taking you so long?" Yongsun blinks for a few times and showed a pout.

"Sorry, traffic jam. It sucks and I know." She bowed and puts the plastic down, full of food. Hwasa suddenly stanned up, leaving her jaw down and gasped. "Heol!" She said and taked one, opening it right away.

"Happy, Hyejin?" Byulyi laughed and sees Hyejin munching a piece. "Yes! I can be more motivated by eating this. What about you unnie?" Hyejin offered her snack to Yongsun, then Yongsun shaked her head. "I'm good Hyejin, I have my chuckie here." Yongsun raised her drink and Wheein comes back down.

"Let's review. The test will be here a day later." Byulyi opened her bag and grabbed one of her books, opening and flipping it through some pages.
