Rengoku nodded his head. "Ask away, my boy!" Sukoshi planted himself on the stool beside the other male. He made himself comfortable. This interview was probably going to last a while.

He took out a notepad that he hid inside his yukata. He had his questions planned since the second time they met. He cleared his throat before reading out loud.

"What do you think of Oba?"

Rengoku was a bit taken back about the question, but didn't put too much thought into it. "She's a beautiful and heart-warming woman!" The boy hummed at his response as he wrote down the answer.

"What do you think are Oba's best features?"

"Her pretty smile and delicious cooking!"

"What makes this features so likable to you?"

Rengoku blinked a couple of times, trying to find a reason why the questions revolved around you, but at last, he was too oblivious to understand for now.

After a couple of more questions, the topic was changed.

"Have you ever thought about marrying someone, Rengoku-san?"

Rengoku's mouth slightly hung open in shock. "Uh, no." He responded in a sort of shameful tone. Marriage has crossed his mind a couple of times, but it wasn't such a big deal at the moment. He decided to keep this subject buried on the back of his head since he still hadn't found a woman to settle down and have children with. Being a Hashira filled up his schedule, so he barely ever had time to search for a spouse.

The boy pressed his lips in a thin line, confused about his answer. Adults in this village would always made marriage a very common topic to talk about. He shrugged it off though and crossed out the next question. He skipped to the other one.

"What do you look for in a woman?"

It finally hit Rengoku why Sukoshi was interviewing him.

"Would..you like me to marry (L/N)-san?" He smiled down at the boy. Sukoshi nodded his head in excitement.

Rengoku shook his head. "Have you asked your Oba, yet? What if she doesn't want to marry me?" The little one was taken back by this. He had never seen you in love, so he wouldn't know anything about you liking the demon slayer. Hell, he didn't even knew if Rengoku was your type at all. Either way he was certain you would accept his proposal.

"I'm asking you just in case if she does want to be with you." He put away the notepad. Rengoku cackled loudly and pat the boy's head. "Being with someone and marrying someone are two different things, Sukoshi." The small boy rolled his eyes. "You know what I meant." The other found his attitude funny.

"Ask her opinion on me first."

Sukoshi's eyes contained small stars in his pupils. Rengoku was openedto the idea and that'sall that mattered to the little one. "So if she likes you, you'll ask her to marry you?" He asked in a hopeful tone.

He was tired of being the only child at home. It was nice when his Oba played with him, but it wasn't the same as playing with another kid. He knows having a sibling is impossible at the moment since his dad was out of the picture. Which left you to give him a few cousins.

"Don't get my hopes up." He repeated.

"Okay!" He yelled in excitement. It wasn't a yes but it wasn't a no either.

On the other side of the village, Mitsuri and you were fawning over the pretty hand-made kimonos.

So far you had taken a liking to the pink-head. Her energy was all over the place, and not in a bad way, of course. You have always been attracted to very hyper people; romantically or platonically.  It's never boring with those type of people around.
