Chapter 1: was it just a dream?
Last year, I met my friends. Holly Devon and Adam Williams, but I keep thinking it was all a dream. I got sorted into Hufflepuff, Holly Too. I was really happy about that until Professor McGonagall Read Adam's Name and he got sorted into Gryffindor. If i close my eyes, I can picture that moment. Harry Potter came to school last year. He saved the Philosopher's Stone from Quirrel who is rumored to have had Voldemort on the back of his head. I learned who my parents were too, Maya and Luke Alcove. My Mum was killed by Voldemort and Dad is still running. I'm sat in my Bedroom thinking about whether or not Hogwarts is real. Then an Owl came into my room. It was carrying an envelope in it's beak. It was my Second year letter from hogwarts. I opened it and a piece of parchment fell out. It read:

Ms Alcove,
This is your Shopping list of things required for you to have for your second year of hogwarts.

I Looked at the letter and scrambled to the door, we leave for hogwarts next week so i need to get these immediately. I rush down the stairs and into the living room. "Mom, Dad, I need to go to Diagon Alley For my school books." I say sweetly.
"Sam, Olivia needs to go to that place again, can you take her?" says mom as he sighed and got up.
"Fine, lets go." he says bitterly and walk out of the front door to the car, me with my shopping list and money bag.
We arrive in london around 2 hours later. we walk into the leaky cauldron together and i say hi to the barman, Tom i think his name is. He smiles and waves as i walk to the wall behind the pub. i pick up my wand and tap the bricks 3 up 2 across like Tom taught me in my first year. the bricks moved aside and we were in Diagon alley. First I led Dad to the Wizard bank, Gringotts where I Opened the Vault my mum had left to me when she had died. We was sent on the rollercoaster ride down to the vault with a goblin called Bogrod, he seemed a little rude. He opened the vault and i looked in awe at the gold galleons and the silver sickles. I grabbed a handful of galleons and walked out of the vault, back t where sam was sitting in the cart. and we were zooming back up through the maze of tunnels towards the surface. Once we got out of Gringotts Dad looked a little bit sick.
"You Okay Dad?" I ask almost laughing
"I'm Fine as long as i don't have to go into one of those Carts again." He said looking green.
"Okay, To Flourish and Blotts then." I say and drag him along the Alley towards the colourful bookstore. I See a sign outside that has a Man with a rather cheesy smile on. It says "Gilderoy Lockheart, Book signing of Magical Me. His Biography."
I walk inside and see a lot of people gathered at the back.
A shop assistant came rushing forwards and said "Can i help you with anything?"
"I could use some help finding the books on my list." I said as She took it from me.
"Let me just grab them for you. Would you like them signed?" she asked
"No Ma'am, It looks too busy. Thank you." I say as she rushes off to find the books on my list. She was back soon enough.
"that's 36 Galleons Please." She said and i counted out the money and handed it over and me and dad left the shop with my books in our arms. Next i had to restock my potions kit and grab a few new quills for writing because most of mine were broken on the last day by none other that Draco malfoy. I wish he would just leave me alone. we set off back home at around 3 pm having already spent 2 hours in diagon alley.

-One week Later-
Today i go back to HOGWARTS! I am so excited. I get to Kings Cross at 10:30 and leave my adoptive parents at the barrier waving to them before walking through and climbing on the train with my trunk. I get into a compartment and fall asleep for the entire journey to Hogwarts. I was shaken awake by Holly and then we made our way up to the castle.
