Chapter 9: The Chamber Of secrets
It's the middle of the day and Im about to be let out of the hospital wing when Professor McGonagall's voice could be heard magically amplified, she said " All Students must go to their houses immediately, All teachers could come to the staff room Immediately." Somethings wrong really wrong. I run to my common room and Professor Sprout walks in a few minutes later. I sit with Cedric Diggory who has become like a brother to me this year. he still wants to know why my hair is blue. I was wearing a black skull jumper with a vest top underneath, a pair of light blue jeans and my bag on my back and a pair of black sneakers.
" the heir of Slytherin has left another message. It says: HER SKELETON WILL LIE IN THE CHAMBER FOREVER,this means that Hogwarts will be closed and you are all getting on the train tomorrow. I fear that you may not return to hogwarts next year." She says and walks solemnly out of the room. I got up and ran to my dorm and laid on my bed. I had a strong urge to cut but then i hear it. I hear a voice saying "Help!" I look outside the dorm to see who said it. Once i am outside of the dorm it says it again, and the room spins only to be replaced by another. It was lined with snake statues that seemed to hiss at me. There are two boys in front of me , The older one started to hiss and a giant snake came out of the mouth of what i think is meant to be Salazar Slytherin. A flash of fire was brought down to the younger boy and then a beautiful pheonix started to attack the snake. Wait a minute is that "Harry potter?" I say and both boys turn around.

"Olivia, isn't it? How did you get here?" He said "It's not safe for you to be here!" He looked worried as the snake advanced, slowly but its eyes couldn't see. "Its a basilisk. Run!" he says and grabs my hand. We run down a tunnel as the basilisk follows. I was silent as it pushed its head to where we were. I pick up a stone off the floor and throw it in the other direction and it moves away from us. we run back to the chamber. The Older boy looked pale and almost 2D. I don't think Harry saw it though. He puts his head under the hat and then takes it off his head and then puts his hand in the hat. A sword came out of it. The bassilisk advanced on me and Harry threw me the sword. I caught it and held it up, and the boy hissed again. The basilisk struck harry and I screamed. I brandished the sword and Pushed it through the roof of the basilisk's mouth. a warm gush of blood went over my arm and the basilisk collapsed sideways on the floor. I run to Harry.
"Hey, you okay?" i say and the older boy laughs
"The Great Harry Potter Defeated. Can you feel the poison spreading through your body? Numbing you?" He chuckled. Harry pulls a fang out of his arms and fawkes begins crying on his wound. Oh. My. Godric. Healing Powers! Pheonixes have healing Powers! I realize and face the older boy.
"Who are you?" i say distracting his attention from harry.
"I Am Tom Mavolo Riddle. And as Harry Knows I am Also Lord Voldemort." He smirks.
"You mean you killed my mum?" I say and throw the diary to Harry.
"I did indeed, would you like to join her?" He said and raised harry's wand.
"Harry, Now!" I say and he opens the diary and plunges the fang through it. Tom Let out a high pitched scream as he was half gone, Harry plunges the fang into the other half of the diary and he disappeared as a girl sat up who was at the feet of the statue. She had red hair and a few freckles. She gasped when she saw Harry and i stood there.
"What's your name?" I ask Politely
"Ginevra weasley, but i prefer Ginny. Last thing i remember is Tom coming out of the Diary." She said and then burst into tears.
"Hey," I say "Its not your fault. you didn't know." And give her a one armed hug as we walk out of the chamber. we get to a wall of bricks with a hole in the middle, a voice sounded "Harry, Is she okay?"
"Ron, she's fine." he replied as a head poked through the hole. he also had red hair, and a lot of freckles.
"who's that?" he said looking at me whilst i hugged his still sobbing sister.
"Olivia alcove. I don't belive we've met." I say as i help Ginny through the hole. I walk through with ease and there is lockhart. "Erm... why is he here?" i ask
"Memory charm backfired. He's a fraud." said Harry "Grab my hand and Ron will hang on to ginny's and Lockhart Grab hold of Ron's." He said as we all linked up.
"Lets go fawkes." I say and we were rushed up a metal pipe and into moaning myrtle's bathroom. "Hey Myrtle." i say to the shocked looking ghost.
"You're Alive?" She said and i rolled my eyes
"well, duh." I say and lnk my arm with ginny's who is crying again.
"I'm going to get expelled aren't I?" She sobbed as we followed fawkes to McGonagall's Office.
"I'm sure they'll understand if we tell the whole truth." I say and knock on the door basilisk blood still on my clothes. Professor Dumbledore opened the door and looked puzzled.
"Ms Alcove, Mr and Ms weasley, Mr Potter. Come in." He said "Could you please Explain what happened?"
"Well sir." Harry started and said how he and ron had found the chamber of secrets and forced lockhart to go down first but left out how Ginny had been opening the Chamber.
"Where does Ms Alcove come into this then?" He asked "Pomona, said she had been in the Hufflepuff common room when she addressed you all." He continued looking at me.
"I heard about the school closing and ran up to my dorm and heard someone saying help, i walked out of my common room to see who it was and i was then spinning. I ended up in some sort of chamber where there was some random dude who set a Basilisk on us. I- erm Harry defeated it with this sword," I say laying it on the table "and The basilisk bit him but Fawkes here saved him while i distracted the boy who was called Tom Riddle and i threw the Diary thingy to him and he stabbed it and Tom disappeared in a flash of light. I was useless really." I say sadly.
"No Olivia, you defeated the Basilisk after it bit me, I threw you the sword." said Harry and i groaned
"Is this correct Ms Alcove?" said McGonagall
"Yes Professor, I don't like to be in the spotlight for anything really." I say as Ron's eyes widened, "That's why I am half covered in blood." I continue and walk over to ginny.
"I would like to reward all three of you with an award for special services to school, and 100 points each." Said Dumbledore after thinking for a moment.
"Sir, I can't accept that. Harry would have done just fine without me." I say
"You will receive a award for special sevices to the school and 100 points for your house. I will not hear anything else to do with it Ms alcove." Said dumbledore. He then dismissed us all and sent ginny and Lockhart to the hospital wing where her parents were waiting but said "Mr Potter and Ms Alcove, could you please stay here?"
"Yes, Sir" we said in unison

"Well, you're not in any trouble but there is one thing I wish to tell you only you must not repeat a single word of it to anyone else.Do you understand?"
"Yes, sir"
"well, when you were both first born your father's placed an enchantment that if one of you is in trouble you just shout for help and the other is there and if one of you is unknowingly transported somewhere else the other will be transported also until the day voldemort fully dies."
"So," I said, "Basically,if we need help i'd be transported to harry?"
"Basically."
"Harry, are you okay?" i asked
"Yeah, Yeah I'm fine" he said but i wasn't convinced
"Mr Potter, you may leave. I wish to speak to Ms alcove Alone." said dumbledore and Harry shot me a look as if to say 'you okay?' I just nod once at him and he walked out of the office. Once he had gone a silencing charm was put on the room and I automatically went into defence mode. "Ms Alcove, I've heard about what has happened this year, Would you like to explain?" he asked and I shook my head. "It wasn't a request." He said and I sighed
"Just leave it." I said and walked out of the room leaving Dumbledore puzzled. We go home in a few weeks and the entire school knows how i helped Harry in the chamber. I hate Attention :(
