Should've Never Brought You Here pt~3

Hot tears fell down my cheeks. I hated seeing him like this.  I wiped the tears from my face and lifted my wrist up to check the time. 9:05. I stood up and walked back around the building towards the boy on the other side. He was laid out on the concrete ground. "Devon",he said in a small voice leaning up and turning to me.

 Once he saw me he turned back around and went back to his previous position. I walked over and spread myself onto the ground as well. "mmhm",I hummed. "Its the truth...",he said. I turned to him and stared for a little hoping and wishing that it was true. I sighed "no..no its not you're just..you're drunk its not real",I huffed.

"Its the realest thing I've felt in a long time then..",he said with his normal voice. He cleared his throat "Ive never told anyone this but my dad-",he said as his voice croaked. "Wait no. After my mom died he just..he couldn't deal so...he took it out on me",he finished. My heart dropped. "He h-hit you?",I questioned with my voice cracking. 

He hesitated but nodded slowly. "Ive never felt as safe with anyone as I am when I'm around you",the curly haired boy confessed.  "Thats why your my person..you make me feel at home. The one I never had",he finished now sitting with his legs crossed. I looked up at his glossy red eyes and wet face that had tears streaming down it. He sniffled quietly. 

I felt tears prick my eyes once again and then begin to stream down my cheeks. "I-i love you Devon",he said quietly. I stood up and pulled him to his face. My eyes filled with tears and they felt to the ground. I pulled him into a tight hug. Then I let him go. I paused for a second then cupped his cheeks. "I love you too",I whispered before kissing him. It lasted for about 20 seconds  his lips were soft and gentle.His tears falling down his face onto mines I would never forget that this was the moment I knew the boy I'd loved since I was 10 was finally mines. 

We pulled up and he smiled brightly "wow",he said. My heart fluttered and I laughed a little. "Lets go back to my house. Theres no way I'm taking you home after that", I said smiling. He wrapped his arm around my shoulder and we walked for about 5 minutes before making it to my house. We tried our best to quietly walk up the stairs even though I knew my mom was out on night duty tonight. 

I opened to door to my moderately sized room and walked the taller boy over to my bed. He sat down still smiling from what happened outside im guessing. "Here put this on", I said giving him a hoodie and a pair of sweatpants. He smiled at me.  "Thank you",he said before going into the bathroom to change and I changed by my bed. 

3RD

Jake walked back into the room as Devon grabbed his shirt. Jake felt his stomach fill with butterflies and he smirked. The curly haired boy leaned on the door frame and watched as Devon put on a black t-shirt. Once he was finished he smoothed out his clothes before noticing the boy watching him and smiling. He laughed lightly. "Ill sleep on the floor",Jake blurted.

 "No no its ok you can sleep in my bed. I dont mind",Devon confessed. Jake nodded then slowly walked over to the bed. They got in the bed and pulled the warm comforter over them. They laid with there backs to another and tried to fall asleep. 

Jake 

I turned my back from Devon and tried to close my eyes and fall asleep. I heard a clicking noise and a wave of cold air hit me and I shivered. Even the warmness of his hoodie wasn't enough. 

Devon

I tried to fall asleep but couldn't. Something felt wrong. I was lost in thought I felt the bed shake I look over to see a shivering Jake. Im used to the coldness of my room but I'm guessing he's not.

Jake 

I felt warm hands grabbing my arm and pulling me. It was Devon. "Here",he said quietly. I was confused. The shorted boy wrapped his legs around my waist I scooted my head onto his stomach and put my arms around him. My stomach swarmed with butterflies. "Thank you",I say softly.  He rubbed his hands through my hair. "Goodnight Jake",he said moving my hair to kiss my forehead. 

I look up at him and he smiled. I cupped his cheeks and pulled him in for a long kiss. His lips were soft and it made my stomach fill with butterflies. I let go and felt my face get red. I stared at him for a second and he smiled. He lean in and pecked me on my lips then he kissed me all over my face. "I love you",I say blushing.

 I yawned and went back to my original position. "And Im in love with you", he said. I laughed quietly. I put my head back onto his chest and realized how fast his heart was beating, 

Devon 

After Jake kissed me I knew he was the one. I loved him and now he is mines.

3rd

After this the 2 teens knew they were meant for each other.  (Aww now isn't that just adorable)

Millie Speaks: Honestly I love this. This idea popped into my head in the middle of class and I just started writing. Also something I thought you should know before I type the story I write it on paper then type it . Thats when I do all of my editing changes for the actions and dialogue. just trying to be profesh 🤪🙂😆😌. Im jp but that you for all the reads I got on this I wasn't expecting it. <3
