A lot of things boggled Hiro’s mind as he was driving his brother’s scooter to his school.

He thought, “How was he able to do that? I must get the formula of making a time machine from Callaghan. But how could I talk to him? I still hate him from the incident 2 years ago.”

But before he knew it, he was already in his destination. (It’s pretty much because it’s not really that far. Anyways, back to the story.) He rushed to the office of Professor Callaghan. However, he thought first of what to say and everything else. When he thought he was ready to face his “mortal” enemy, he then knocked.

*Knock knock* Then the glass became transparent ,just like what happened before when Tadashi knocked on the glass to tell his brother that it was Callaghan’s invention.

Callaghan’s eyes opened very wide as he saw the face of whom he thought was someone who would never talk to him again. But, he acted rather naturally and said “The door’s unlocked, Mr. Hamada.”

“Professor Callaghan, we need to talk,” Hiro said grumpily as he entered the door to the office.

“Yes, what is it that you need to discuss about, Hiro?” Callaghan asked the lad.

“Is it about the thing that hap---,”he said. But before he has finished what he was trying to say, Hiro interrupted.

“No. Professor, I have seen the breaking news this morning and learned that you... you have created the... the first...”Hiro gradually decreased his voice as he mumbled.

“The first functional time machine, you mean?” Callaghan tried to continue what Hiro might have wanted to say.

“Yes. How did you--” he sighed. “But, that’s not important anymore.” He added.

“Why so?” the old man asked.

“Professor Callaghan, I need you give me the formula to create the time machine right now.” Hiro said bluntly. He never planned to say it but that was what his mind wanted to say.

Professor Callaghan, on the other hand, was shocked with what the teenager commanded him. Two things were in his mind. “I was the reason why his mentor and brother died due to the explosion I created. But, if I give him the formula, he might use it to say that he was the one who made the time machine.”

However, he also thought that he already has the patent signed to his name and that Hiro might not wish to do what he thought of. Additionally, he thought of the possible reason why Hiro wanted the formula. In conclusion, he decided to give it to him but with a little reminder before he does.

He sighed, and finally said, “Follow me to my lab.”
