I (Probably) Don't Know What I'm Doing

Love, Family, & Friends

1. Love at first sight doesn't exist.
- You should fall in love with someone for their personally. You cannot find out about someone's personality by just a glance.
2. 90% of Media today, being music, movies, books, television, ect., is about love.
- seriously try to find something in today's media that doesn't involve the ideas of love.
3. Everybody has a different idea of what love is.
- We may have the same basic ideas of love; kindness, caring, affection, but we all see those basic ideas differently.
4. "Perfect" couples don't exist.
- No matter how "perfect" or "in love" a couple may seem, every couple has problems. For all we know they could be fighting all the time in secret, but acting all lovey-dovey in public, just so they won't have to put up with the judgement of others.
5. Friends are our chosen family.
-Real friends should be like family to you.
6. Your family shouldn't judge you and always have your back.
- Sadly this isn't always the case. This is also why sometimes friends seem more like family then your actual family does.
7. The sick truth about love: You will get hurt by love, but the only way to fix the hurt is more love.
- And the cycle repeats several times until one day it finally stops.
8. Just because someone has ever been in a relationship it doesn't mean that they have never experienced heartbreak and/or rejection.
- How else am I writing this?
9. Never forget your best friends.
10. How to tell if a person is your real friend; you can trust them with anything.
- To be honest, I only have maybe three or four real friends.
11. Trusting someone is trusting them not to judge you.
- Trusting that when you tell them something, they won't be angry and outraged. Sure, they might be a little upset at first, but then they'll help you get through it.
12. If your friends are moving away try to keep in touch.
- For my best friends who are moving; I'll try my hardest.
