Seasons

A/N: my friend and I wrote this haiku at school, about the seasons in Australia.

Summer wind blowing
Scorching sun shines off the sand
Hot under my feet

Sharp sand rises with
The billowing storm brewing
Dark clouds building up

Summer storms have broken
Multicoloured leaves falling
Resting on the ground

Cool air whips through the trees
Children play in the leaves below
The days get darker

June brings in winter
Puddles grow as water falls
Butter tea sits brewing

Drops run down the window
Smell of damp seeds from the ground
Saplings sprout from the earth

Dainty flowers bloom
Lambs take first wobbly steps
Sweet scents fill the air

The plants come alive
Birds chirp loudly in the sky
Hot weather arrives
