Seokjin's POV:

Jungkook, "Joon, Tae, Hyung... I don't remember telling ANY of you his birthday."

All, "...!"

Namjoon, "..." Jungkook takes a long hard look at the four of us, including me.

Jungkook, "What are you hiding?"

"Err..." I whispered.

"Spit it out." Cold sweat drips down my back.

"Okay, okay, the jig is up..." Clapping his hands together, Jimin begins speaking in a cheerful voice. "Time for us to confess!" Oh good lord, what is he going to say?! My heart throbs wildly in my chest.

Taehyung, "I agree with Jimin." A glimmer of amusement twinkles in Taehyung's eyes.

Jungkook, "..." Jungkook's eyes remain impassive and unfeeling.

Namjoon, "..." Namjoon's gaze is equally inscrutable as he too turns to look at Jimin.

Jimin, "Well then, don't shoot the messenger, but..." Clearing his throat, Jimin continues. " We haven't mentioned it to you, JK, but...Namjoon is Seokjin's ex-boyfriend!" ...! I feel like I just got hit with a bucket of cold water.

Jungkook, "Oh." Jungkook, however, doesn't so much as blink. He simply replies in a monotone voice.

"They dated in high school. Joon's known for a while, evidently, but Jin didn't realize until later."

"Pfft."

"We were pretty surprised too. Right, Tae hyung?"

Taehyung, "It really is a small world."

Namjoon, "Yeah."

Jungkook, "Hmm." I can't tell if he's angry or indifferent. Either way, I really should have explained before it came to this. In the end, his opaque, emotionless reaction only makes me more uneasy.

Jimin, "So, of COURSE Namjoon would know Jin's birthday."

"Hmph..." Jungkook picks up his glass from the table, quietly drinking some of his whiskey.

"Alright, now it's MY turn to ask some questions!"

Taehyung, "Oooh, this is going to be good!" Jimin and Taehyung seem downright gleeful.

"Who asked who out?"

Namjoon, "I had Seokjin meet me behind the school building one day, and I asked him out there." Aww, I remember that! Wait, this is no time to get all nostalgic. What else is Namjoon going to tell them...?!

Taehyung, "Where did you go on your first date?"

"We went to see a movie."

"Nice. Movie theaters are so dark and romantic. Is that where you guys had your first kiss?"

"!" Oh no, I can already see where this line of questioning is going.

Jimin, "Come on, you can tell us. It's been over a decade, the statute of limitations has expired." That's not what I'm worried about.

Jungkook, "..." Unsurprisingly, Jungkook remains just as apathetic and impassive as ever.

"So? Did you guys kiss in there or what?"

Namjoon, "No."

Taehyung, "Aww, you must have been pretty shy as a kid, Joon."

Jimin, "But you guys at least held hands or something, right?"

Namjoon, "Outside of the movie theater. It was pretty crowded, I didn't want to lose Jin."

"I will get to the point. Did you guys do it or what?"
