After Dolores left my room I sat on my bed thinking, about Camilo when all of a sudden I heard a knock on my door "come in" I said, it was Camilo. "Oh, hey Camilo what's up" i said with butterflies in my stomach "hey y/n, so it's Saturday and every Saturday we are allowed to bring a guest to dinner so I was wondering.." My heart was now beating "would you like to be my guest"? "Oh yes of course Camilo"! I said freaking out and screaming on the inside "ok I'll come nock on your door when it's time"! "Ok see you then"! I say happily After he closes the door I start screaming and jumping on my bed I was so excited
After a while I hear a knock "coming"! I say I open to door to Camilo smiling at me "hey it's time" he say "ok, I'll be down in a sec" "ok" he says as I close the door. I quickly rush to my dresser and put some lipgloss on and go into the bathroom and put some perfume on then I check my self in the mirror to make sure I look good
Once I was done I rushed to my door before opening it i take a deep breath "calm down you can do this" this was my first actual sit-down dinner
When I got downstairs Camilo was already sitting I got sit next to him, then Mirable comes and sits next to me on the other side
"Friends welcome, we are very pleased to have you here, now let eat"! Abuela said and sat down
After talking for a while with Mirable Abuela says "Y/n can you go refill the water pitcher please"? "Yes ma'am" I say as I grab the pitcher and walk into the kitchen
After I was done filling up the water I walk back outside, as I was waking by Abuela, I tripped over a rock and splashed the water all over her. Camilo immediately got up and ran over infront of me "How dare you"! Abuela shrieks "I let you stay in my house and you do this"?! "It wasn't her fault Abuela she tripped"! Camilo says standing up for me, you could hear the nervousness in his voice "Camilo madrigal how dare you defend her"! "Go up to your room now"! "No" he says, the whole table quietly gasps he was shaking at this point "Dolores take your brother up to his room now"! Dolores scoots her chair quietly and gets up and grabs Camilos arm and takes him to his room.
