Dear Mother,

Your warm embrace fills me with happiness and joy.

Your smile reminds me of home.

While your words flow into my fragile heart, they remind me that I'm safe.

You endured the unexpected hardships of being a mother.

You suffered in silence even when your heart had sunken to your stomach.

Despite your pain, you taught me to be kind and to appreciate the little things.

All you wanted was for me to be happy.

Although, I was always happy.

All I needed was your warm embrace, soft smile, and supportive words.

You did it all alone.

With no shoulder to cry on, or no tissue to wipe your tears.

You succeeded in what you thought was your biggest challenge, being a mother.

Thank you, for being my mother.
