Chapter 6

•Aizawas pov•

Recovery girl whispers something to me. "Remember? The whole trans thing..."
Crap. How could I have forgotten? I still remember the so called 'Squid Squad' coming to our house so they could work on a project and them yelling at me after I called him Daikara. Now I just feel ashamed of myself, and I know Mic noticed after he gave me a reassuring pat on the back.
"Sorry for asking, I forgot."
"It's ok! You didn't know..." Kaminari says, his voice trailing off.
"We should better get going... I'll tell Yuyu and them that your here."
"Thanks. And please tell Bakugou I'm fine."
"I will."

•Shinsou pov•

I lie awake, wondering who did that to Kaminari. There's no doubt he's ok but why did he avoid saying who it was?
My insomnia is usually really bad, but tonight it was worse.
I look over at my alarm clock. It reads "2:30am" I've been laying here for 3 hours.
I get up, throw on some clothes, and head to the infirmary.
As I enter I wave and say "Hey Shuzenji." Quiet enough so only she could hear it if she were sitting right beside me. Instead I overhear a conversation happening where Kaminari is.
"You sure it's them?"
"I'm sure. I saw their faces, their quirks, and I heard their voices," he sighs. "They also called me Daikara."
I am so close to punching whoever did this in the face. And then, it hits me. Hiroto.

~flashback~

Me, Tamaki, Mirio, Nejire, and Yuyu walk down the hall laughing at a meme Nejire showed us. I start to hear something and tell everyone to shh.
I peak around the corner to see Kaminari getting beat against the lockers.
"Ha, look at her. Weak, small Daikara." Hiroto laughs.
"She'll never be a hero!" Itsuki adds.
Hiroto smashes Denki into the lockers. I watch as blood trickles down his face.
Itsuki uses his quirk to turn his hand into poison ivy and places it on Denki's stomach, and makes his other hand wood and punches him in the face.
Hiroto laughs and says "Cmon, let's go before someone else gets here."
They flee the scene and I watch as Denki sits there, emotionless, as if it's happened before.
I look up, to see almost all the others crying at the scene.
We all rush over to help him.
"DENKI!!" Mirio yells.
He gives no response, and doesn't even move.
"Denks!" I wave a hand in front of his face and he still doesn't move an inch. "Stay with me!" Tears land on the floor.
Tamaki picks him up. "A little help here?"
Nejire and Yuyu go straight to help him, and Mirio comes to get me up.
"He needs our help, let's go!"
I get up and we both help them carry him.
Eventually we make it to the nurses office.
"HELP!!!" I yell, careless if I get in trouble.
Mrs.Kai (don't question the last name, just google it) rushes over to us.
Reiki Kai
Quirk:heal
She can heal people by touching them with her palm. It restores health almost immediately, and is quite useful in battle. She has her limits to what she can do, so she also has to heal some stuff manually.
"Oh my god what happened?!?"
"No time to explain. Help him please."
She nods, and takes Kaminari to a hospital bed. "Do you guys mind leaving? I need to do some work on his chest and I'm not sure if he's comfortable with people being here because of the whole... situation."
"Mhmm." Nejire says and we all leave.
"Schools over now, what do you guys wanna do?"
"We can go to my house, my dads will be there though."
"That's fine!" Yuyu shouts.

~end of flashback~

I can still hear recovery girl and Kaminari's conversation so I knock on the door, pretending like I hadn't been there. "Hello? May I come in?"
"Oh sure." Recovery girl says, and once I enter she leaves.
"Hey Denki."
"Hey 'Toshi. What are you doing up? It's 2:30!!"
"Couldn't sleep. As usual." I don't want him to deal bad if I tell him the whole reason.
"Oh ok."
I look down at his hand, it's in a few layers of bandages, though his head seems to be fine. At least that's fine, I remember how badly his nose was bleeding.
"What happened?"
"Nothing much. Just a few minor scratches and bruises." He looks down at his hand. "And that." He starts crying.
"Hey, Denks. It's ok. Hiroto and Itsuki can't hurt you. They may be in UA, but not here." I point to his heart.
He pulls me in for a hug. I can feel myself turn extremely red, very fast.
My brain can barely function, but I manage to spit out a few words. "W-what's this for?"
"For always being there. For always being on my side and always being there to comfort me when I'm sad. Your always there for anyone and everyone. Thank you 'Toshi."
Every time I hear that nickname i get flustered. I feel my face go even brighter of a red and I hug him back. "No problem. Honestly I should be saying the same for you."
He laughs, the tears start lightening.
