19 birthday | part 1

Hinata Shoyo's POV:

I wake up on the couch, i looked at the tv and then my hand. "I think i was watching a movie last night, guess i was sleepy"

I get up and stretched a bit, and went to the calendar, i felt like something tight on my wrist, but I completely ignored it thinking it was a cramped.

"June 21? Seems like its my birthday.." i went to the kitchen and see's a bento ready, my mom probably cooked it for me and then went out dropping natsu to school, why will I complain mom's food are the best.

I got some bread and puts it in the toaster, i then see a red string wrapped around my wrists as i put the bread in there "what?, what kind of sick joke is this.. did natsu or mom pranked me tying this string around my wrist?" i sighed and gets a scissor in the cabinet.

As i tried to cut the string, it seems like the string wasn't even damaged a bit, but the scissors.. the other sharp tip of it was.. the one that got damaged? "How is this possible?" I remembered what my mother told me in the past

"Shoyo, when you get older.. you'll have some string around your finger or even wrist that means you'll get your soulmate, the colors are red,black and gold" she smiled at me then I questioned her "but, mama. You said few weeks ago that night, our string is turner black.. what does that stand for"

She left me there, no answer . She changed the topic right after i said that but, it didn't bother me a bit.
As soon i turned 13 I realized what it meant, thats why my mom and dad broke up.
They weren't meant to be, i heard the toaster pop up and grabbed my toast as i eat it.

I go upstairs to change for my school in my new school, once again.

—————————— Kageyama tobio's Pov:

I was making food for myself and my sister, since i was in cooking duty for today. It was pork curry "food is about to be ready"

I get my phone and checked the time "8:34 AM" it was still early. I woke up an hour ago, because it was to windy and cold.
As i was checking my phone, a mysterious string on my wrist started to fade in, I looked at it while its now fully seeable, i then freaked out and ran to miwa "jamae! (Sister in korea.) what is this string around my wrist!? Do you know what it means!!" Miwa looked at my wrist then at my face "you do know, I can't see the string. Tobio, its when you get your boyfriend or girlfriend. Or whoever that person's pronouns is. But it might take some time to get along with that person" She said while scrolling to old photos of their family.

I looked there in disbelief "I actually got someone when i grow old? Thats a relief.. that someone will like me by their personality and not my looks" i sighed happily then went to the kitchen again "foods ready, come get it now miwa" i got some plates and puts it on the table   Then the bowl of curry in-front

Miwa went downstairs then looked at the food "curry again? Didn't you cooked this last time you were in cooking duty" she pouted and sighed

I got some rice and then puts some curry onto it "be grateful i took responsibility with the cooking duty, or we wouldn't be having breakfast right now!"
Miwa chuckled then gets some rice "you should've cooked pancakes instead! Its your specialty"

I look at her with a look "hm, I don't want too. Curry sounds good already" continues to eat

Miwa rolled her eyes and started to eat, it was a wonderful morning

Back to hinata——————————
he went out of the house carrying the bento and his back "i'll be back" he then starts to walk to the bus stop.

I check my phone and chatted a group chat with his old team in it "karasuno"

Hinata: hello, is everyone not busy?

Everyone went online

Yachi: oh right, hinata-kun! Happy birthday 🎂
Everyone started greeting hinata, he smiled and replied back with thank you's and etc

Daichi: have you got your, string now by the way hinata?

Sugawara: right! Like daichi his so lucky to have michimiya as his girlfriend. Wish could be me just kidding, my girlfriend might give me a death wish.

Tanaka: i'm surely the lucky one here, i've got kiyoko-san as my girlfriend! and we are doing really great.

Kiyoko: right, our string is gold. We really might meant to be.

Hinata sighed and looked at his string, he thought about it. And might plan something later "i'll try to find you later." he continued chatting with the old karasuno members, memories of the past and the funnies parts. Then the bus arrived

Hinata puts his phone on his bag then went in the bus as he sat in the back row. "This'll be a bumpy ride?"

Back to kageyama ——————————
He puts on his clothes then went downstairs "i'll be going now" he grabs the bento he made
As miwa greeted him bye "wait, tobio."
Miwa went to him them fixed his tie "you should wear you're sweater sometimes."

Kageyama rolled his eyes "yeah, i will.. never"
Miwa smacks kageyama's head then he chuckles

"Alright, i'll be going now, i might get late" kageyama ran out the house then grabs his scooter that was passed by him from his grandpa

He then scoots his way to his school "i should buy some milk later for lunch." He checked his watch "9:23 AM? Shit it starts 9:27, i'll be late for math class"

He fasten the scooters pace while kageyama was about to fall, but he successfully put his foot on the ground. "Good catch, kageyama"

After that he arrived at school, only have a bare of 2 minutes left getting there "uh, mr. pls put this where the bikes or scooter area, i'll be late if i put it there" the mister nodded as a response then he ran off going to Class.

He sat on his chair, the right timing. "That was a stressful ride" he sighed as he's friend started talking to him

Her name was Lee Mi Cha, one of tobio's friend. "Tobio! You're just in time thats a relief!" She said, then the teacher walks in

"There will be a quiz, later. But lets do attendance first"

I looked out of the window, passing by karasuno. I smiled since i saw in-familiar people going in the school having the same red uniform when he came into the gym.
"New members eh? This couldn't get anymore better for karasuno."

After awhile the bus stopped then i stand up going out of the bus, 2 people was waiting for me at front of the gate

"Tsukishima, yamaguchi!" I ran over to them we talked about, that we should have the same school. The 2 of them accepted but not yachi since her mother, already a signed her into a school.

"What classes do you guys have this morning?" I said while getting something out of my bag.
Yamaguchi was first to reply "Japanese"
Tsukishima then said "right, mine is history."

I thought about it first and remembered my class this morning "oh now i remember! Mine is math-"

As shoyo stated the word "math" the string glow brighter for a second, then he looked at it

"What was all that about?"

Back to kageyama he noticed the string glowing brighter also the faded once again, he thought about it then brushed it off..
