I felt the sunlight on my face and squinted my eyes before fully opening them. Something was poking at my arm, Eri. She was poking my scars.

“My dad’s wife and son did that.” I spoke softly.

Eri froze. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to wake you up.”

I smiled softly before sitting up.

“Are you ok?” She placed her small hand on my stomach.

I lifted up my shirt. “I’m fine, it was worth it.”

Eri yawned and toddered a bit.

“Here, you’ll rest easiest if you feel safe.” I picked her up, placing her next to me before I laid back. “Lay back and put your head on my arm.”

She laid back and snuggled against me.

“This is what I like to do when I’m tired or sad, cuddling with someone who cares for you.” I held her close. “I promise, you’re safe.”

Eri yawned again. “You’re really warm.”

I patted her head. “Get some rest.”

She closed her eyes and fell asleep faster than expected.

I let out a deep sigh. “Izuku got her, I’m relieved.”

Mr. Aizawa came through the door, he looked more tired than usual. “At least she’s resting, how are you holding up?”

“Straight vibin Teach.” I held up a peace sign.

“Don’t leave this room, got it?” Aizawa sat down on Eri’s bed.

“Or what? You gonna turn me over to the so-called heroes?” I scoffed.

“You make Eri feel safe and for now you and I are the only ones that can calm her. She trusts you more than anyone because of what you said while fighting Chisaki.”

I stayed quiet for moment. “I’m not staying, you can’t guilt trip me with a child. She just doesn’t understand that I’m bad too.”

“Why didn’t you leave? You could’ve escaped with Twice and Toga but you didn’t. You stayed and…”

I slid Eri off my chest. “And so you thought I wanted to come back to this? I suppose that's why I’m not in a cell right now. Get a grip, Teach. I wasn’t about to sit back and watch that child go through my life times 8.” I slid my jacket on and threw the window open.

“Well if that’s the case, I can’t let you leave.” Aizawa gripped his scarf.

I smirked and pulled a metal device from my pocket. “I didn’t expect you to Shouta, that’s why you have exactly 14 seconds to grab Eri and be out of this room before I kill us all.”

Aizawa’s eyes widened.

“No quirk needed to detonate a bomb that could be anything in this room.” I held the metal piece up.

Aizawa quickly grabbed Eri and dove out of the room.

“Heroes are all the same.” I flipped the metal out to reveal a mirror. “Great to see you Mr. Aizawa, give Class 1A and Hitoshi my best! But I have some unhandly business to discuss!"

I threw myself backwards out of the window and was caught by Twice.

“Let’s go. Let’s Get Out Of Here Right Now!!” Twice went from calm to a full blown mental breakdown in one breath.

"It took you long enough, I messaged half hour ago. Stalling is not my strong suit."
