7. The kiss

I know in the beginning there is repeated dialogue but I put that so it wouldn't be confusing anyway have fun reading :)

Chesters POV
We stopped at McDonald's to get some food
Parker orders his food and turns to me to ask me what I want
"Uh, maybe just a 10 piece nugget with some fries?"
He just continues to look at me
"Parker? Are you good"
He snaps out of it and finishes the order
We pull out of McDonald's, the silence was killing me, "is it me?"
"Is what you"
"Why you spaced out... Is it my eyes?... are they that bad"
Shit, why would you say that?!
"What no!"
"Are you sure"
"Chester you look perfect, like a model from a magazine or something"
A magazine model? Does he really think that of me?
"You really think that?"
I could feel my face turn red
"Yeah, why wouldn't I?"
"I dunno"
"Well I have for a while so you don't have to worry"
He has for a while... what?
I feel the car begin to stop I look up to a red light shining in my face, I look over at Parker he looked so cute for no reason, and those words kept replaying in my head ""Well I have for a while"
Before I knew it I was leaning in and kissing him!
I was kissing my best friend!
What the hell am I doing?!
The kiss lasted about 4 seconds I pulled away and looked at him
What. Just. Happened.
The light turned green and he looked back to the road, I didn't know what to think of it, we didn't say anything for a few minutes until he finally said something
"What just happened.."
"I have no idea, I just kinda did it"
He didn't know what to say
He obviously doesn't like me I looked out the window next to me a tear rolling down my face
Shit.

Parker's POV
Chester just kissed me... I liked it but maybe he didn't, but If he didn't why would he do it in the first place?
Maybe he likes me, I doubt it.
"What just happened"
"I have no idea, I just kinda did it"
I don't know what to say, I just left it there, I don't want him to think I don't like him because I do thankfully we are only a few minutes away from the house and we can just go to bed.
Maybe he was just overly tired? That's probably what caused it to happen.
"I know you're probably really tired, so don't worry about talking about this tonight, we can tomorrow"
He didn't respond back to me and I start to feel really bad I should have said something.
I pull into our driveway and take the keys out of the car
"Chester were home"
He still didn't respond, I realized he's asleep so I walked over to the other side of the car and carried him inside I put him in his bed and went to mine, Before I knew it I was asleep.

-The next morning/Afternoon-
I wake up around 12:30 And walk downstairs I see Chester in the kitchen making some coffee
"Good morning"
"Oh hey"
Chester grabs his coffee and walks back upstairs
Shit, I really messed up this time, I decided to give him some space for now but later I walk up to go talk to him.
"Hey Chester"
"Hey.."
"So um do you maybe wanna go do something today like go watch a movie or something?"
"Sure I guess"
"Great I'll go get dressed"
I'm glad he agreed to go with me I'm hoping we can talk about this and sort it all out.

-After the movie-
After we got done we decided to go get something to eat we went to Olive Garden, I thought this was the perfect time to talk about this,
"Um so we should probably talk about what happened last night"
"Yeah, your right.."
"So why did you even kiss me.?"
"I dunno I just kinda felt like it"
A few moments go by before something slips out "Chester do you like me..?"
