4: Crying

"So who is this guy you're getting dick from" Diluc asks and sits next to me

"I wont tell you you'll steal him from me" I say and laugh 

"Oh come on, I have my own" He says proudly

"Oh yeah, how are things going with Thoma"

"We have just kissed, we are taking things slowly" He says with heart eyes probably thinking about Thoma

"You're boring" I say and stand up

"Dont ignore my question, Who is it?" He says before I walk out of the door 

"Ill give you a hint, Someone close to Zhongli" I say before waving goodbye and walking out

"Youre whipped for him" Diluc yells before I close the door

Am I?

I push those feelings aside and walk to Katheryne to get my daily commissions 

"Hello there Aether, Here to get your commissions?"

"Hi Yes" I say 

"Today's commissions are in Liuye harbor so head over there" She says before handing me a paper with my commissions

"Bye then"  I say and walk out of Monstad

But before I get far I can hear someone yelling for me

"Hey Aether wait up!" I can recognize that voice anywhere

I act like I dont hear him and keep walking, but before long he catches up to me

"Didn't you hear me yell" 

"What do you want Kaeya" I say and keep walking

"My commissions are in Liuye too, So we can go there together"

"No" I say and walk faster

He takes a hold of my arm "Why are you avoiding me? Didn't we have a great time together?"

"Let go and get lost" I say and try to make him let go 

"Not until you tell me why you are avoiding me" He says gripping tighter

"No reason" I say and try once again to make him let go

"We all know its not for no reason" He says

"Fine, You hurt me and I dont ever want to see or speak to you again" I say trying to keep myself from crying, Oh how I wish that Xiao was here to save me

"I didn't do shit you were the one who slept with my brother when we were together, so I just returned the favor" He says almost yelling at me

"I did not sleep with Diluc" I say tears now rolling down my cheeks "You're the one who is stalking me after we broke up, You should go to Rosaria and ask her to sleep with you because I will never sleep with you again, you fucking asshole" 

He keeps quiet and walks away

I fall down and start to cry hysterically

Oh how I wish that Xiao was here to take me away 

"Xiao please help me" I quietly cry out 

And like flash someone picks me up before teleporting us away 

I was surprised but when I saw that it was Xiao I just hug him and break down crying

He wraps his hands around me and speaks "Its going to be okay, let it all out" 

We just stay there hugging and me crying on his shoulder

When I can collect myself and stop crying I slowly pull away wiping the last few tears away

"Dont apologize, You did nothing wrong" He says and puts his hands on my shoulders 

I show him a little smile before pulling him in for a hug

"If I can ask, Why were you crying?" He asks

*Flashback*

Kaeya and I had been dating for a few months now, everything was good The kisses his company and the sex everything was perfect untill

I was with Diluc in dawns winery, cause he is my best friend after all 

We were having a tickle contest and we were tickling each other all over the place

"You can never catch me!" I say before running away only to trip on my own feet 

I fall down on the floor but before I can really register the situation I feel diluc falling down on top of me 

I just start to laugh loudly

but when I realized he wasnt laughing I stopped laughing and just look at him 

Our position was something anyone could misunderstand 

"What the fuck" I hear from the door 

I quickly look at the door and see Kaeya standing there with an hurt face 

To be honest I would have misunderstood the situation too, I was just in my t-shirt and boxers and Diluc was only in his sweatpants and we were laying down in missionary and that could look very wrong

Before I can say anything Kaeya turns away and leaves

"Kaeya wait!" I push Diluc off and run after Kaeya 

Of course I cant go outside I didnt have clothes on 

I ran back and got my pants, and ran back to Monstad as fast as I could

When I got there, I tought about where he could be and the first thing that came into my mind was his home so I ran there Knocking loudly

"Kaeya are you here!" I yell, no answer

I was just about to leave when I heard sounds from other side of the door

I placed my ear on the door and my eyes went wide

"Kaeya youre so good keep going" That sounded like Rosaria

"Tell me how good I am" Kaeya says and Rosaria moans louder

I could not listen to that anymore so I ran tears falling down but before I got far I bumbed onto someone

"Sorry" I say quietly 

but before I can walk away they pull me into a hug

I recognize this scent anywhere and wrap my hands around him

"Get me away from here" I tell him and he leads me to his tavern

"Im going to beat him up" Diluc says as we get to his tavern

"Dont" I say and keep crying "Can I have a drink?" I ask him

"Just one" He says and makes me a drink

I sit down on the bar stool

*End of flashback*

"So he cheated on me back then and he still blames me" I say as the tears wouldnt stop falling

"You did nothing wrong" Xiao says and hugs me again 

"I need to do my commissions, You wanna come with me?" I ask

"Of course" He says and we start to make our way to Liuye 

We are awfully quiet the whole way there
