West's POV
I am so done with Daniel.
I am normally a 'Care Free Guy', but right now, if there was a beach ball next to me, he would be hit.
He has never played attention to Chloe before, but all of a sudden, he magically develops feelings for her.
Whereas I, I have liked her ever since I joined the studio a year ago.
Nobody gets it. They all just think of me as the joker, and nothing else. Well, I've decided to change that. And I know one person who can help me.
'He-ey, Steph!' I say sweetly, as we stretch. She's looks a bit creeped out, but I can't say I blame her.
'Hi...' She answer warily. 'You're hair looks nice today. New shampoo?' I was desperate at this moment, and I would try anything.
'Just get to the point. What do you want?' She sighs.
'I want people to take me seriously.' I tell her, and she bursts into laughter.
'What?!?' I exclaim angrily. Steph doesn't stop laughing, if anything it makes her laugh more.
'I hate to break it to you, but 'West' and 'serious' aren't two words I would put together.' She grins. I stare at her, exasperated.
'Please Stephanie! You're the only person who can help me!' I beg, and she stops laughing.
'Alright, alright, I'll help you. But you have to do something for me...' She says, smirking. Of course.
'Anything! Just help me!' I say, and I really wish I didn't. She nods her head, thinking.
'I want you, to do a duet competition with me.' I look at her in confusion, and she quickly explains.
'I was suppose to do it with Daniel, but he's going to some Dance Camp, so he bailed. So will you do it?'
I nod my head. 'I will. But you need to help me aswell.' She smiles. 'Then it's a deal.'
Chloe's POV
'Alright, everyone, positions!' Emily shouts, just as Stephanie slides into the room.
'Steph, where were you?' Tiff asks, and Stephanie just mouths 'Tell you later', since Emily was getting impatient.
'So today,' She says, her eyes flickering around the room. 'I've decided that we're going to practice the National routine. But first, we're going to hear the line placements, which I have already decided.'
I am excited to see what my place is, since I'm a E-Girl, I'm hoping it's good.
Emily, Steph, and Tiff are in the front, Riley, Daniel, Eldon and James are in the second role, and Me, Michelle and West are in the back.
Guess I'm not as good as I thought.
Michelle looked pretty disappointed with her place, and I don't blame her. I really thought that she was going to be in the first, or at least second, row.
We started to learn the new dance, which is OK, but it's boring. I really want to make my mark in A-Troupe, but with this dance, it's going to be hard.
I look at the clock on the wall, and I almost jump, since I'm 10 minutes late for my shift.
My dad just lost his job, and if I want to dance, I need to pay for it. Nobody knows about my job, and I don't want them to. Hopefully Emily will let me go.
'Hey, erm, Emily?' I ask timidly, as she calls a break. She turns to look at me. 'What?' She snaps.
'I, uh, have to go. Dentist appointment.' I lied, and Emily narrows her eyes at me.
'...Okay...' She says, and I take the chance to leave.
I notice West looking at me funny, but I just ignore it, since I know what West is like. You never know what's going through his mind.
