So, as everyone just sees the beautiful smile that guards my emotions- the myriad of my feelings..the pain, the joy and the depth of my soul- I let them think what they will and believe what they want about me. I’m happy with the person I am, the beauty I’ve found and the happiness I’ve created within myself. Maybe my choice to be guarded isn’t always easy, but I own my successes and failures, each and every time. I won’t trade my self respect, my pride or my uniqueness for anything or anyone.
