She was strong because that was her only option. She didn’t know how to be anything else, and she was a survivor. Her heart was hidden behind walls, because that’s how she endured the pain, that’s how she faced the world behind a happy facade. She tucked away the tears behind her smile, hid the pain underneath her laughter. Her soulful eyes spoke a very different story, if you took the time to get past her deeply woven countenance of enigmatic mystery. Most never did, and she was fine with that. She loved her way and on her terms. She was a strong woman who had fought brokenness, failures and broken hearts. A girl with dreams became a survivor with scars. Her wounds didn’t define her or defeat her, they forged her wisdom. Her broken road built her strength. Her cracks of hard days eventually became the ways the light illuminated her soul. The fire would never claim her. Instead, she became a fiery Phoenix. There were those times, though,When the sadness overwhelmed her and the tears became part of her story. The silence at night could deafen her with the onslaught of emotions. She wasn’t the bravest or most beautiful, but she was determined to become the most unforgettable. She used her fear as fuel, and her pain as motivation,
to never be broken again, but instead to let her light shine through the healed fissures of her heart. She was a volatile tempest of emotions,a magnificent mess and beautiful disaster, but she was always true to herself..Everyone would say she was the happiest of women, but that was because they didn’t know her sorrows. No one would want that burden,or so she thought. She soon realized that the truest of loves, whether friends or soulmates, would always embrace her worst baggage...
And help her unpack. She discovered that joy works better in twos, but she didn’t know if she could trust another man after the countless disappointments. Her heart had been crushed so many times and her hopes had crumbled away,She had once stopped finding reasons to believe in true love again. Until some long forgotten stardust somehow sprinkled itself onto her soul. The reason, against all odds and without reason, found her even as she believed she wasn’t worthy of love. Until she learned to truly love herself, she didn’t know how to open her heart to another. She knew the sun would always rise and maybe, just maybe, there was hope for a brighter tomorrow. She knew that somewhere beyond all the storms, there was a rainbow waiting just for her,She realized that it was always darkest before dawn. And it was time for the rise of her new day,new chapter.
On a blustery day, as it fate would have it, around a random corner, a curious thing happened on the way to forever. Real and lasting love smiled on her. And she never looked back.
She didn’t know where tomorrow might lead, all she knew is that,
Finally, for the first time in as long as she could remember, she had hope.
