Almond had finally arrived to Cheesecake's manor, slightly exhausted. He checked the time on his watch once again.
6:00 PM.
He sighed in relief, happy he's on time. He made sure he had his handcuffs in his pocket then walked out of his car, and approached the manor.
He saw Cheesecake cookie greeting all of her attendants happily. "Oh, hello there Almond! It's fancy seeing you here!" She said waving. "Hello, Miss Cheesecake." Said Almond, tipping his hat and smiling. He stepped into the mansion, surprised on how giant it was. He stood there awkwardly before finding a place to sit, trying to keep an eye out for anyone suspicious, considering he was looking for Phantom Bleu.
Timeskip
The party had been going on for awhile, but still Almond had no suspicions of anyone. He decided to get something to drink, starting to lose hope a bit. He walked up to the juice bar Sparkling cookie was working at and ordered a glass of juice. Suddenly, he noticed someone had sat down next to him and ordered the same drink. The person looked at Almond with a warm smile and waved. He looked at them for a second and waved back. "Long night it's been, huh?" The person said after a short silence. "Oh, yes." Almond said, unsure of what to say. Sparkling cookie handed them their drinks with a charming smile. "Enjoy, you two!" He said with his usual smile. The two took a sip from their drinks, followed by another silence for awhile. "Who might you be?" The stranger asked Almond, breaking the award silence. "Um, I am detective Almond cookie." "Nice to meet you Sir Almond! You may call me Phantom Raven." The stranger said, holding their hand out for a handshake. Almond shook the person's hand, smiling."Phantom Raven..? That sounds familiar..." Almond thought to himself with suspicion. He didn't think much of it, slightly happy he had some company. "Would you like to go on the dance floor, Mr. Almond?" Phantom Raven said, holding their arm out.
"Oh, dancing isn't really my thing.." Almond said, rubbing the back of his head. "Nonsense, come on! Said Phantom Raven, pulling Almond to the dance floor laughing.
"That voice... Why is it so fimilar.." Almond thought to himself again, trying to be more cautious about this stranger.
