After awhile of Almond and Phantom Raven dancing and chatting, they sat down on one of the couches that was in the manor and continued to chat about things. Almond was starting to blush a bit without noticing. "Uh, Mr. Almond? Your cheeks are red." Phantom Raven pointed out to him. "I deeply apologize, I didn't mean to.." Almond said in embarrassment. "No worries! Do as you please." They said, smirking a bit and laughing. "Look at the time! It seems I must go. So sorry our night had to come to a close!" Said Phantom Raven, getting up. "Wait, hold on." Said Almond cookie, pulling in Phantom Raven and kissed them. "Oh my mister Detective!" Said Phantom Raven, blushing. "Oh no, I'm so sorry, sir. I don't know what went through my mind-" Almond was cut off by Phantom Raven. "Don't apologize, I found it very delightful." They smirked again. "Well, Almond! I'll hopefully see you soon, take care!" Phantom Raven waved goodbye as they walked away.
Almond missed their company already.
Not that shortly after, there was a scream coming from the upstairs of the manor. Almond jumped up and went to investigate, wondering what had happened. He walked upstairs to find Cheesecake and Butter Pretzel cookie standing near a wall. "Excuse me ladies, but may I asked what happened?" Almond cookie asked the two women. "Oh Almond, thank the stars you're here!" Cheesecake said, wiping tears. "There was a painting right here on this wall, made by my love Butter Pretzel, but now it's gone!!" Cheesecake cookie explained to Almond.
"Alright, I understand. Do not worry, Miss. I will try to catch the culprit of this robbery." Said Almond, determined to find the robber. Almond examined the scene, and saw a trail of foot prints leading to the rooftop of the mansion. He quickly ran to the rooftop, his goal to arrest the verdict. Almond saw a figure standing right by the edge of the building. "Stop right there! You are under arrest!! Almond said, pulling out his handcuffs. "Turn around and put your hands up!" Shouted Almond.
The figure turned around, revealing themselves.
Almond's eyes widened upon seeing the figure.
"Phantom Raven!?" Said Almond in unison.
"I'm surprised you haven't caught on, Detective Almond!" Said Phantom Raven as they removed the mask from their face.
"Phantom Bleu! I should've known it was you all along!" He said angrily.
"I certainly did have fun tonight, Mr. Detective! Let's hope next time we meet, we'll share another kiss!" Phantom Bleu said slyly.
Before Almond could say anything else, they had jumped off the building once more, getting away.
