Haziran was not even thinking of anything when she showed Poyraz her sakura tattoo. She was just so excited to find something they liked in common. It seemed like they were always arguing about something. Not that Haziran minded. In fact, truth to be told, she found their little battles exciting. But, it was nothing from the heat that was enveloping her at the moment.
In the silence that followed after she proudly showed him her tattoo, Haziran could hear each beat of her heart. It raced even faster after she saw Poyraz's eyes darken as he intently gazed down her mark. Her skin tingled in response. She needed to leave before she would do something she would regret. She covered up her tattoo and awkwardly said something about liking sakuras. Then, she said her goodbye and quickly left Poyraz's house.
The cool night air that hit her as she closed the door was a relief. She could not help but fan her hot skin with her hand. She told herself to run back to her house and not look back, she did not want to see Poyraz's judgment of her. Even worse, she did not want to see that he was not looking at her at all.
