It was the next day and time for detention. I didn't want to go, but I also didn't want to get into more trouble.
On my way there I saw Harry, apparently he had gotten 5 days on detention.
Once at Umbridge's office, I knocked on the door, we waited a bit, and then heard a 'come in'.
We walked in and I immediately regretted getting 4 days of detention. There was so much pink in there it was actually giving me a headache.
"Sit down", Umbridge said in a disgustingly sweet voice. We sat down and Umbridge came over to us "You will have to write lines- oh but not with your quill I have special ones," she said when we went to grab our quills. "Here you go. Now I want you, miss L/N to write 'I must not hex my teachers' and mister potter you will write'i must not tell lies" "Uhm won't we need some ink professor?" I asked in a polite voice. "Oh don't worry about that just start writing"
We did as we were told and suddenly I felt a burning sensation on the back of my hand. That surprised me so much that I dropped the quill and instantly looked at the back of my hand.
What I saw were the words 'I mustn't hex my teachers' etched in my hand and slowly healing. My eyes got wide, I looked over at Harry and he had the same face, We both looked at professor Umbridge she just smiled down at us.
"Well go on then continue writing. I'll be at my desk if you need anything", with that she sat down at her desk and started writing, probably grading papers or something.
We continued writing and every time it hurt a little bit less, it still hurt but not as much. after a while it got dark out, yet we were still in her office writing lines and destroying our skin. Mine had started bleeding a bit heavier half an hour ago.
After what seemed like ages Umbridge stood up, walked over to us,looked at both our hands and said "I think that's enough for today no?", We didn't answer. "well of you go!" She said.
I was so relieved to get out of there I practically ran, I looked back and saw that Harry did the same. Once in front of my common room I saw the twins. "what are you guys doing here?", I asked "waiting for you" they replied at the same time. "but it's like midnight", I said a bit annoyed, i mean I didn't have a healthy sleep schedule but still. "we wanted to know how it went", said Fred.
"Just had to write some lines, nothing to bad."I said hiding my hand behind my back. Don't get me wrong i wanted to tell them but if i did they would probably get in trouble and then they'd have to do the same as me and their Hand just look so ho- i mean, i don't want them to get hurt "Oh yeah Harry was there to apparently he got 5 days of detention" I add talking like i didn't just think that.
"Oh wow that sound boring", said George "And about Harry: yeah we know Angelina kinda yelled at him this morning" he continued "Really i didn't hear that" i said a bit surprised. "Yeah i think it was after you left" said Fred. "Oh alright, anyways I still need to do my homework good night boys " "Good night Y/N"
I walked into the common room and sat down at one of the tables after what seemed like ages, actually 30 minutes, i was done. It wasn't a lot homework.
I walked into the dorm, as quietly as possible since all of them were already asleep, changed into my PJs, went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and do anything else i had to do and then went to bed.
It took me a while to actually fall asleep since my hand still hust not to much it it wasn't really a pleasant feeling.
T i m e s k i p (to the next morning)
I woke up got ready, meaning i changed into my robes and put on a little bit of eyeliner (optional), went into the common room and saw that Luna and Cho were awake already.
Cho and Luna never really talked to each other but because i was friends with both of them they did hang out some times.
"Morning guys", I said yawning "Good morning Y/N", said Cho. Luna took a bit to answer but finally said in her usual voice: "Morning Y/N"
"Should we go get breakfast?" I asked "You're already hungry? You just came downstairs meaning you woke up like 10 minutes ago", Cho said laughing a bit "Why do you think i came downstairs" I said.
With that we made our way to the great hall, I went to sit down at Ravenclaw table but Hermione called me over to griffindor table. "Sorry guys I'll go sit with my sister and her friends, i hope you don't mind"
"It's completely fine, it doesn't seem like you talked to her a lot recently." Said Cho, Luna nodded "Thanks you guys are the best" i answered happily and went as fast as I could over to Hermione.
"Morning 'mione, Harry and Ron" i greeted "Good morning N/N" Said Hermione "Morning Y/N" Harry and Ron said at the same time.
"What did you need Hermione?" i asked. "What can I not call my sibling over just to talk anymore?" She said in a fake offended voice. I just looked at her with this face -_- "Just kidding" she said laughing slightly "Yeah i realized" i said also laughing a bit now.
We started eating and talking about pretty much anything that came to mind, it was really chill. That was until Hermione said
"Y/N what happened to your hand!?"

haha kinda cliffhanger, what're you gonna tell her find our in the next episode of dragon ball z- I mean next chapter. Excluding this it's now at 1012 words Hope you enjoyed the chapter!
