Blue skies,
Shining sun,
Cool breeze in the air,
Tuesday is the best day of the week.
--------------------------
"Aaaah~" you sighed out as your body shifted back into it's neutral position, that felt good, cracking your back was just the best feeling ever at the start of the school day.
Life seemed to be going pretty good for you recently, this year you'd made some good friends and been getting decent grades, all in all things were good.
You sat at your desk and greeted your group of friends, you weren't a super popular guy but you personally found it easy to make friends and get along with people.
Right on time like every other day, every boys head turned as soon as one individual walked into class, Monika. She was essentially the perfect girl, good grades, attractive, athletic, funny, she basically had it all. You and her were surprisingly good friends as she sat next to you in the back corner of the room.
"Good Morning Y/N" she greeted as she approached you.
"Morning Monika" you nonchalantly waved back as she walked over to her desk and sat down. Everyday you would get daggers stared at you by some of the jealous guys in class for the fact that you were even talking to her.
"They're giving you looks again..." she whispered as she leaned over towards my desk.
"I'm aware..., and who's fault do you think that is?" you said sarcastically as you rolled your eyes and laid your head in your arms on your desk.
You heard her giggle and proceed to get her things out of her bag. Monika wasn't a bad person by any means she just liked to tease you a lot, to most peoples surprise you didn't harbour any romantic feelings for her, sure she was cool but it just never clicked for you both, not like you'd have a shot anyway she was super out of your league.
The lessons went by without anything of note happening, the teaching was as dry as usual. As well as things were going, you just wished something exciting would happen.
As Lunchtime arrived you weren't all too hungry so you decided to not immediately go to the cafeteria and instead walk around the school for a change of scenery to see if that would make you hungry.
--------
Thoughtlessly wandering through the corridors was surprisingly fun, there were a lot of classrooms you never usually see in your school day and a lot of faces who you'd never interacted with and voices you'd never heard.
Even if you weren't hungry you still found yourself feeling thirsty so you decided to head to one of the vending machines around the school considering you had some spare change on you. Opting to go to one of the more hidden vending machines, you made your way to a corridor on the top floor of the school.
You'd literally never come up here in the past 8 months or so, it seemed like an entire separate space of reality. As you turned the corner to where the vending machine was, only one thing caught your eye.
Pink.
There was a small girl with bright pink hair in front of the Vending Machine, checking through her pockets pretty hastily only for her hands to emerge empty. Her gaze was fixed on the Vending Machine but eventually her gaze shattered and she let out a sigh, sitting on a bench beside the vending machine.
You stood peeking around the corner for a moment, if a third person entered this scene it would look extremely weird from their point of view. So you didn't get arrested for being a weirdo, you emerged from the corner and approached the vending machine.
