Chapter 9: Le Loup's rescue

Rodrigo POV

After a long train ride, we arrived at the train station in Lile. I rented a motorbike and raced all the way to the warehouse. 

"How far away are we from the warehouse?" Tina asked, clinging onto my waist as we rode through the road.

"About 30km. We should make it at this pace." I replied, zipping through the traffic lights. 

"Hopefully, this should be smooth sailing!" Tina said.

"Doubt it. Be ready for a fight." I replied.

"Always." She said with a smirk.

After a 2 hour ride, we arrived at the warehouse. I looked down at the PDA and smiled.

"This is the place. Let's get changed and sneak in." I said.

Tina nodded and followed me into the alleyway. After we got changed into The Spade Clan's uniform, we entered the warehouse and followed the marching crowd. We saw Lila and Alex with each other. Lila pulled him into one of the room.

"I hope that it's Vex." Tina muttered.

"You and me both, Muchacha." I replied.

As we went to the holding cells, we saw Chloe and Ryan talking among themselves. I couldn't make out the words because of the sound proof door, but I could read their lips and caught the words "Taking care of The Mayor and akumatizing the whole of Paris."

"Santo cielo. He's gonna brainwash everyone in Paris to kill your friends." I gasped.

"Not if we stop them first. C'mon." Tina whispered as we ventured to the holding cells. As we came close, we heard the sound of painful grunts and blows landing. We peeked into on of the cells and saw a group of thugs beating up a boy with dirty hazel hair, well toned physique and a topless bodysuit.

"Alex." Tina whimpered.

"Not so tough without your gadgets, are you?" One of the guards asked as he punched Alex in the jaw.

"Heh. Why don't you unchain me and see what I can really do, cowards?" Alex taunted in a hoarse tone.

The guards laughed at him.

"Nah. We're just going to pummel you till you drop." The guard said as he kicked Alex in the stomach, causing him to vomit out blood.

"I can't take much more of this." Tina said and kicked down the cell door. The guards turned around.

"Who the-!" The guards gasped. Tina snapped a kick to the guard's head, knocking him out. The next guards tried to grab her, but I wacked the base of my pistol onto his head. He crumbled onto the ground. Tina hugged Alex tightly.

"Al! I thought you was akumatized." She sobbed as Alex rested his head on her shoulder.

"I did, T. But something happened." Alex replied.

"What do you mean?" I asked as I removed the chains around his wrists.

Suddenly, a guard sounded the alarm. Alex quickly punched him in the jaw, knocking him out.

"Let's get the hell out of here first." Tina said as she removed her disguise and revealed her vigilante attire. I did the same. Alex picked up one of the jackets and a cap. He picked up a pistol and checked the magazine.

"I thought you hate using guns." Tina said.

Alex glanced at her and sighed.

"I do. But desperate times call for desperate measures." He said. Bullets ricochet from the walls as we fought our way through the guards. We went out of the factory and entered one of the vans.
