Chapter 21

I wasn't at school for 3 days so far.

No one has checked up on me because they were so busy.

I'm such an attention seeker.

My lip had a wound where my busted lip once was.

They ended up moving the show for tomorrow. I guess I don't have to present 'something' until tomorrow.

I heard someone knock on the door in the afternoon.

As I opened it, I saw my sister with some soup for me to have.

"I thought that you'd wouldn't be the first person to show up...." I said, eating the soup.

"Yeah, well, when it comes down to it.. You're still my sister." She responded, while rubbing my back.

"I... I don't think Gayoon likes me.." I said, heading over to the couch and sitting down.

"No, she just likes Sandeul. I heard they're going steady.. I don't know if it's true, though, since she's known for her schemes." My sister sat next to me and I laid my head on her lap.

"I have a meeting soon, do you mind driving me there?" I asked my sister. I already had my outfit on for the meeting. It was unexpected, so I wore casual- yet- formal clothing.

"I'll take you there now. Where to?" She asked, opening the door for me.

"Starship. They really want me there after examining me in school. That sounds weird and stalkerish, I know, but I have to take opportunities." I went and got into the car.

My sister just nodded and took me to Starship Ent. I don't know why she's suddenly being nice.

When we arrived, I walked out of the car and into the building. I felt so drowsy and tired.

I was immediately greeted once I entered. The atmosphere was nice.

I entered room 106 like they told me to, and saw the CEO of Starship Ent.

"Hello ______. I am making a new group. And to promote them, I wanted a survival show. Our staff have been trying to find anyone in that school. And we found you! You look like you tried hard at everything you do... But, sadly, we couldn't use the survival program idea we had." He said, as I nodded along.

"So, we decided to give you the offer to train at Starship Ent. For 3 months. There's a lot to cram, but we're planing to debut a new group called MinT. There's 5 members.. And, we're hoping you could be one." He said, smiling.

Omo! Really?! I've been waiting for this since forever!

"I will accept the offer. But when will I start?" I asked, hoping it wasn't tomorrow.

"If you're ready, we can start tomorrow." He said. "But. After tomorrow, you can't go to that school anymore. You have to train at Starship." He got up and was about to walk out until I called after him.

"How about I start the day after tomorrow?" I asked him, picking up my stuff.

"Okay. We will start the day after tomorrow. You'll be taking the same courses you did with your other school. Have a nice day!" And with that, he walked off.

I was so happy.

No more bullies, homework, but, no more Taemin...

I smiled either way and got back into the car. My sister started up the engine and drove me back to the apartment.

"We should hang out more than fighting... We had our first girl talk. But I can't stay right now. Bye. I love you." She said, giving me a light hug and heading next door.
