Chapter 24

>>Starship; Morning

Today. It's the day that I've been trying to avoid. I felt the need to tell everyone how I felt yesterday, but things kind of took a turn in the other direction.

This is where Sistar did their awkward butt shaking dance in touch my body. Or where Boyfriend did their crotch grabbing asking for you to bounce with them.

My eyes were filled with hearts until I was suddenly interrupted with a voice coming from behind.

"Hello, are you _______? I have your schedule here. You do know that your debut will be in 3 months, so you will be having a jam-packed schedule." A lady said to me while handing me 2 pieces of paper stapled together.

"Thank you~" I said sweetly. I looked through the paper throughly and studied my schedule.

First, Singing... Next, Dance, Third... Breathing techniques... And so on.

When I entered my first class, everyone stared at me. I saw the teachers gaze as I walked to the front.

"Hi.. I'm ______... I'll be training in here for 3 months so that I can debut with the new girl group that's going to debut with the name 'MinT'." There was a sudden silence. I felt so awkward, I could die.

When I went to the empty seat at the back, the girl that sits next to me looked at me for a long time.

"Today's the first day for you, but you still have to sing on your first day." She said, warning me.

I nodded my head and stared forward.

"____, please come up and show us your first sound." The teacher calmly said. I walked up in a confident way, but the deep breath I took made it seem as though I was scared out of my socks.

I felt very confident in my singing, acting, and dancing skill. I wasn't completely confident in breathing control, so that's going to be a challenge.

I began to sing 'eyes, nose, lips' by Taeyang. Everyone's mouths dropped to the floor.

The teacher told me to stop after about half way through. I grunted in an annoyed tone since I was really into the song.

"Your tuning is great, your voice is soothing, and you seemed confident.. Very well." He said.

I was really satisfied from the teachers praise.

When I sat back down, the girl beside me gave me a thumbs up. I have a feeling that I'll like this school better than my old one.

After my other classes, the same lady that gave me my papers walked up to me with 4 other girls.

"These are your other members. I hope you guys can get along and get to know each other. You will be hanging out with each other for the evening. Have fun!" After the brief explanation, I looked over at the girls.

I realized that one of those girls is the girl that was talking to me in my singing class.

"Oh! It's you. You're in my singing class." I said in an excited tone.

She gave me big smile and a nod.

"Okay.. I'm Jenny. I'm Chinese-Canadian. I speak English, Korean, Mandarin, and Cantonese. I sing and love to dance. Nice to meet you." She said, with that big smile.

"I'm Xiu. My real name is Minyoung, but it sounds normal and not fun. I was born in Korea.. And I only know Korean. I'm the rapper. Nice to meet you." The girl next to her said.

So far it's Xiu and Jenny. It's a relief that someone else knows English just like I do. And it's also nice knowing a full Korean that isn't a bully.

"I'm Yousoo. My real name is Park Yunseo. I'm from Korea and I speak Japanese and Korean. I'm a vocal. Nice to meet you." She bowed politely as we all looked at the last girl for her introduction.

"My name is Jihye. I go by Joji. I rap and sing. I only know Korean fluently, but I'm starting to learn some Mandarin from Jenny. Nice to meet you." After all the girls introduced themselves, I decided to start.

"Hello~! My name is _____. As far as I know, my stage name is going to be _____. I know Korean and English.. And I sing! I love dancing. I went to a performing arts school. And that's where I got scouted." I said, smiling back at all the smiling faces.

"Okay. We'll take you to our practice room. Tomorrow you're going to be learning about recording in a studio. Because that following morning, we'll be recording our first song on the mini album!" Jenny said, excitedly.

Then, she suddenly grabbed my hand and led me to the dance room as the others followed behind.

"You might have time during the night time, but it'll be hard juggling a Job while you're training for 3 months here." The other girls smiled and opened the door for me.

"Oh! By the way.. We never got to tell you our ages." I was standing in front of them all, expecting a role call.

"I'm 21... Xiu's 20.... Yunseo is 23... Jihye is 18... And you're...?" She asked me.

"Sorry, I'm 17... Looks like I'm the maknae." I said with a slight giggle.

"Wow, you're so young." Yousoo said in astonishment.

"Well, that's because you're so old." Xiu said, which made everyone laugh. I never knew they were so comfortable with each other. I'm so envious.

"There are other Kpop idols who were young when they debuted. Like Taemin of Shinee. And Suzy of Miss A, who was only 15 years old when she debuted in 2010." Jenny said, looking out in space as though she escaped to some wonderland.

"Joji, show her the dance we had for the song when Alice was still here." Xiu motioned Joji to a good spot to show me the dance.

Alice?! Who's Alice?!

She took out her phone and began playing a song that had no words to it.

They all started singing and rapping to the song when their parts came.

They only showed me a snip bit, but the song was catchy and cute.. With a hint of an innocent sexy In it. Like maybe... Jieun's - 25. Or Sunmi - 24 hours.

"Alice was our main vocal. And boss sunbaenim said that you're so good, that you must be our main vocal. How about you sing for us?" They all looked at me.

"Of course. I'll sing 'Let it Go'." After a deep breath, I started to sing. "Let it go~ let it go~ can't hold it back anymore~ let it go~ let it go." Their faces showed that they were completely shocked.

"You're like Hyorin and Ailee mixed together." Jenny said in amazement.

"Thank you." We all smiled at each other. I can tell this will be the start of no more bullying.

But what about Ken? Taemin and me can act normal, but what about Ken? It may be hard for him to act like his normal self.

Whatever this life is, I like it.

I can't wait until I debut.
