Chapter 26

"Do you really have to move out?" Mrs. Choi frowned at Mr. Kim.

They were sitting in the living room. She still thought he could change his mind.

"It's not right for us to stay here." Mr. Kim explained for a hundred times.

He turned to Mr. Choi. "Thank you for everything that you have done for us."

"I really don't want you to leave." Mr. Choi sighed.

Before Mr. Kim could answer, they were interrupted by the door being opened, revealing wet Soobin and Jiwoo.

All of the people in the living room widened their eyes at them both.

"Why are you two all wet?" Mr. Kim eyed the couple head to toe.

"Mr. Kim, I have something to ask you." Soobin ignored Mr. Kim's questions.

"What is it? Go change first. Look at you two-"

Mr. Kim stopped in the mid of his sentences when he saw Soobin locking hands with his daughter.

Mrs. Choi's eyes went wide as she gasped loudly.

"Please let me marry your daughter."

Everyone looked at Soobin with widened eyes, including Jiwoo. The whole room went silent as everyone was speechless.

"You.. you.." Mrs. Choi shuttered. "Are you serious?!"

"I'm serious." Soobin replied calmly at his mom.

"I finally realised that the person I want to marry.." Soobin turned his head to Jiwoo. "is Kim Jiwoo."

Mrs. Choi was laughing enthusiastically as she slapped Mr. Choi beside her.

Jiwoo was still speechless. So was her dad.

"Not right now, of course." Soobin calmed her mom. "We'll wait until Jiwoo graduates and until dad's company is doing better."

Mr. Choi smiled and nodded.

"As for Arin,I'll find a way to tell her."

Mrs. Choi still couldn't hide her excitement.

"No matter what," Soobin said. "The person I want to be with is Jiwoo. No one else."

Mrs. Choi squealed happily.

"Mr. Kim,will you let me marry her?" Soobin turned to Mr. Kim.

"Soobin, my daughter can't do anything." Mr. Kim said.

Soobin glanced at Jiwoo before answering,
"I know."

"She's a terrible cook."

"I know."

"She also can't do anything right. She always gets in trouble."

Soobin grinned. "I know. But she's a positive person."

Jiwoo looked up to face him.

"She's also resilient. When she's facing challenge, she'll cry until it gets better." Soobin said.

"Yes, just like a rubber band." Mr. Kim smiled.

"Mr. Kim, are you okay with this?"

Mr. Kim smiled and look at Beomgyu, Mr. and Mrs. Choi were nodding countlessly.

Then he turned to his daughter. "Jiwoo, what do you think?"

Soobin looked at Jiwoo who's staring at him.

"Jiwoo, are you okay with this?" Soobin asked.

She nodded. "Yes!"

With that, everyone started to cheer.

Jiwoo was feeling beyond happy.

However, she suddenly felt dizzy then everything went black.

Last thing she heard was everyone shouting her name.
