As Mosey woke up,the aroma of something good hit her nostrils but she still had to go brush her teeth and change into something more presentable than her pyjamas as it was a rule in their home. When she was done, she headed downstairs to the kitchen. She saw her dad and mom there. Her dad was sitting down, reading a newspaper and her mom frying some bacons and egg omelettes. "Good morning mom" she greeted and pulled her in for a hug. "Good morning sweetheart. Go greet your dad".
"Sure" Mosey said. She walked over to her dad and just stood there, grimacing. "Yes?" Her father spoke. "Good morning dad" she murmured. "Aren't you going to say something?" She asked her dad who just continued reading his newspaper. "Thanks" he replied.
Her father was always like this in the morning. Guess he wasn't that much of a morning person.
"Honey how long is that food gonna take? I'm hungry and running late!" Her dad complained. "I'm coming dear!" Her mom said while appearing with two plates of an omelet and two bacons each on the dining. Mosey sat down opposite her dad then she spoke." Dad".
Her father who was chewing, finished swallowing and responded, "yes?". "Dad this is a Saturday and you still have to go to work. Aren't you going to rest someday with I and mom?".
For a moment, William's expression softened a little then went back to normal.
"Mosey this is an oil company we are talking about here, I myself am the manager! So I can't not go to work",Her dad spoke. "You know Mosey, I was thinking of taking you to my company to see some things. How bout that?", Christine suggested. "Well, it is better than being alone at home all day",Mosey said with a shrug. "Dad, just know you need some rest" Mosey finalized. " Thank you Mosey, you can eat now". William said. Truly, William didn't want his little sugarplum worrying about him.
William finished eating, brushed off his clothes then spoke. "Honey I'll be going now like I said I'm running late. He kissed Christine on the forehead then nodded at Mosey and said"bye", "bye" Mosey said with a smile. He dashed off and Mosey got dressed alongside her mom. When they were done, they came downstairs. She asked her mom " Am I okay?". Christine said"of course dear, you look just okay", "let's go".
They dashed off into Christine's crystla jeep.

Driving down the streets of New York is like heaven. People are obeying traffic rules and some ruthless teenagers who keep on J-walking. Christine stopped by a gas station to fuel the car. Mosey said,"Mom, can I go get some snacks from a supermarket nearby?". "Well. I'm almost done with-" Here's your change madam", the gas attendant said, cutting off Christine. "I'll drive there", Christine said shifting the gear into DRIVE(D). "K", Mosey replied. Christine came back onto the road and turned left into the parking lot of the supermarket, she took a spot. Christine spoke first "Do you need me to come along?". "No thanks, I'll just get a few stuff then I'll be back but I'll call in any case of incasity", Mosey replied, giggling at the last phrase. " Okay. See ya!" Christine told her daughter.

Mosey went past the sliding doors and into the store. This is her first time in the store so she took some time in looking for the snack section. She found it. "Yurika! Now where is it?" She murmured to herself. "I think it's here". A voice said, startling Mosey. She turned and what she saw made her gawk. " What's funny?". She saw a boy who looked about her age that was dressed in a black shirt and jean, wearing a white yolo cap. Mosey was about turning full 180° before the boy turned her back. "What the h-"My name is Clifford. I'm 19". Clifford said, cutting off whatever cursing Mosey was about to throw his way. " So?, What has that got to do with me?" Mosey asked, confused. " Let's be friends" said Clifford. " Ha ha ha ha ha. NO!.". Mosey said, turning back to find her little friends(the snacks) when she heard fading footsteps. "Bipolar creep" she murmured to herself. She found her friends and decided also to get a drink. As she was walking towards the drink section, she murmured to herself "Hope another creep doesn't show up like the last one". She quickly took a chilled orange fruit drink and moved to the counter. The counter girl scanned her items and packaged them. Mosey paid and left with her stuff. As she got to the car, she saw Christine's face switch from that of worry to that of relaxation. Mosey got in. "Jeez, you were actually worrying even when I told you I'd be back?"Mosey said. Christine giggled "yes dear because I was worried you spent so much time there". Just then Mosey flashed the conversation between her and the creep in her mind. When Christine nudged her, she said "let's go then" with a cheeky smile thet betrayed her emotion. Christine said "What were you thinking?". "Nothing really important, let's go already" Mosey replied before sipping a little of her juice.

Christine drove into a parking lot with a building that held a signboard that says"Christine designers". Christine parked. "We're here dear!". They alighted from the car and walked off towards the building.
