Is this the part where we break up?

It would be a lie if Minho say he was not relieved with the way things are with Seungmin after their last fight — if he was okay before, Minho was happy now.

Their infrequent and hurried meet ups, their random short calls and late-reply texts that were almost like chores or formalities to do when time and energy were not on their side, now became what Minho would call an escape.

"Did you just wake up?" asked the older, call on speaker as he sorted out his folders on the cupboard inside his office. "You sound like a dog giving birth."

A whine, much similar to the one Minho was greeted with once the line was picked up, resonated in the room before a slightly muffled huff could be heard, "A puppy! I'm a puppy!"

"What's that? Thank you for waking you up before your 9am appointment? Aww, you're welcome, Kim Seungmin."

His grin might have been obvious from his teasing, cooing tone because Seungmin grumbled that Minho was being annoying too early in the morning before he sighed out that he needed to get ready.

"You're eating lunch with me later right?" asked the younger, sounding more awake after the long yawn he let out.

Minho hummed and answered nonchalantly, "Did I say that?"

"Ah, is this the part where we break up? Pity."

"Baby, go and take a shower already," Minho could not help but to chuckle and he picked up his phone, switching to normal call. "You'll be whining too much if you miss your graduation photoshoot."

From the other line, he could hear rustling of sheets and soft paddings of feet so he assumed Seungmin was finally off the bed.

"What colour are you wearing today?"

Minho seated himself and opened up the report he needed to go through on his desktop when he heard knocks at his door, "Grey."

"What shade?"

After slipping out a 'come in' that turned out it was his secretary, Changbin, Minho raised an eyebrow to ask what was needed as he replied, "Dark grey."

He heard a hum from the other line before Seungmin chuckled, "I'll leave you to work. Say hi to Changbin hyung for me."

"He said hi," informed Minho with a brief eye contact, and examined the folder Changbin set on his table. "Stay in one piece, Kim Seungmin."

"Eung," Minho could see Seungmin rolled his eyes. "Don't give your employees a hard time, Mr. Chairman."

"No promises."

And they ended the call. When Minho looked up, he raised an eyebrow at the wide grin adorning Changbin's face.

Sliding back the folder to his secretary after he stamped it, Minho then leaned back into his chair, "What?"

"You're in a great mood, sir."

To clarify, Minho was not smiling but his features were obviously that of calm yet enlivened. Pursing his lips for a moment before nodding towards his phone, indicating the person he had just spoke with, Minho informed, "He's graduating the day after tomorrow."

Changbin made a delighted sound at the news and asked if Minho would like to clear his schedule for that day. For a fact, Minho was aware of all his agendas and truthfully, he would want nothing more than be with his lover on a special day.

However, there was a meeting that he could no longer postpone so Minho lightly shook his head which earned a jut of a lower lip from his secretary.

"Are you sure, sir?"
