The breeze was cool against Minho's skin since it was reaching the end of winter. It gave his cheeks and the tip of his ears and nose beautiful red dusts and he lightly pushed the camera directed in front of his face away.

Minho gave a bored expression when Seungmin lifted his camera once again and looked at the younger grinning widely at the pictures he managed to capture of him. What a fool, the older let out an amused noise through his nose.

"You look stupid," he chided with no real heat, hand ruffling the other's black locks aggressively and got a roll of eyes in response.

"Can't I merely admire my husband's beauty?"

Turning his eyes away from the way Seungmin beamed at him while wearing that wide, cheeky smile of his that made his eyes turned into crescents while fixing his tousled hair, Minho reached for his warm coffee.

He schooled an indifferent expression when a soft clink of metal against the ceramic mug was heard and sipped on the bitter drink as if Seungmin was not staring at him openly with those sparkling glimmers in his eyes at the obvious reminder of what they are.

Three months ago, Minho abruptly cancelled all of his schedule for the last week of October and early week of November. Changbin was thrown off with the sudden decision and had worked extra hours with Jisung to rearrange their Chairman's schedules and handle the company affairs because both of them were left in charged until the second week of November.

Why? Because Minho decided he had enough.

The older took Seungmin by surprise when he showed up at the firm to pick him up after work when they had already agreed earlier that day to see each other on Sunday. Nonetheless, Seungmin did not question Minho's sudden change of plans and they spent a silent drive.

Seungmin noticed they were heading to one of Minho's vacation house that was by the lake. It was one of the place where they frequent during short breaks to get away from their busy work lives and Seungmin wondered what they were doing here when clearly both of them did not apply for day offs, or at least, Seungmin did not.

Upon stepping out of the car, Minho circled his hand around Seungmin's wrist and gently tugged him towards the lake where the they could see the Sun setting. It was silent between them for quite a while and Minho knew the younger sensed there was something serious he needed to talk about and that he was nervous to say it.

Eventually, he did say it. After almost getting lost in those warm, grounding brown orbs and tracing his eyes along the curves of Seungmin's nose and letting his gaze lingered on the pink, pillowy lips of his that felt nothing far from sweet and welcoming every time he got a taste of them, Minho did say it.

"Let's break up."

Minho let go of the younger's slim wrist and took a step back. He tried to not let the trembling, searching eyes of the other to stop him from what he was about to do.

"I've known you for almost a decade, Kim Seungmin, and I've never known how much I could yearn for someone until you. I didn't expect for us to be together this long and now, you're already a known lawyer while I'm taking over my family's business completely," Minho released a shaky exhale, eyes narrowing at the innocent greens by the younger's shoes.

"We're both only getting busier and I'm not sure if I can continue like this, always wondering if you're taking care of yourself, always wondering if you're home safe, always wondering if you're overworking, always wondering if you're being flirted with somewhere, I will go insane if we continue like this."

Mustering courage, he lifted his eyes to meet Seungmin's glassy ones and Minho clenched his hands into loose fists.

He has to do this. He wants to do this.
