Divergent high

The woods

I am waiting for Tobias in the woods. I'm starting to fear he won't come. What would I do? I jump when I hear a stick break. I turn quickly to see Tobias. He's here, he came. I breath a sigh of relief. I run to him and he takes me in a hug.
"You came." I say.
"Of course I did. I will always come from you Tris." Tobias tells me. "We don't have long."
I explain everything. Al's threats, him hitting me, everything. I get mad just talking about it. How he threatened to hurt Tobias. How could he? I trusted him. I realize as I think back to everything. I was so focused on protecting Tobias I forgot to think what I thought about this. Tobias seems more angry then I am.
"He'll pay for this. I can't believe him. How could he do that to you?" He was furious.
"He was jealous of you. He did know how to express it. I'm not forgiving him or saying it's ok." I tell Tobias.
"You aren't going back to him, are you?"
"I have to it's the only way to save you."
"There has to be another way. You can't go back to him." Tobias was going to try anything to change my mind.
"Till we have a plan I'm going to play the part. I'll be his perfect little girl, his puppet." I don't want to but what are my choices.
"I don't like this." He says pulling me into a hug.
"I don't either but it's my only choice. Once we have a plan I'll leave him. I promise."
"Fine." Then we hear the bell. We have to go.
I kiss Tobias quickly. Then I run back to school. When I reach my locker I see Al is leaning on it.
"Where were you?" He asks me.
I swallow. "I went outside for a little bit."
"Why didn't you tell me?" He was mad at me but he wasn't going to show it.
"I didn't have time."
"You have a phone."
"I forgot. Sorry?" I try I know it won't work though.
He grabs my arm to hard and pulls me toward him. I cringe at his touch. "That doesn't cut it. I don't know what you did but I'll let it slip this time. Next time it won't. Be careful Tris." Then he releases me.
Before if he said that I'd wouldn't have scared me now it feeds to my angry. He won't get away with this, he won't. Tobias and I will win this.

Tobias p.o.v.
I walk back to school thinking about Tris. How can I let this happen to her? She doesn't deserve this. When I get inside I find Zeke. When I find him I tell him everything about Tris. I know he won't tell anyone.
"Why the hell didn't you tell me this before?" Zeke yells and we get a few looks.
"I just found out. Tris told me." I say in a quieter voice then Zeke.
"I can't believe Al. How could he do that to Tris?" Zeke says.
"We need to think of a plan to get Tris out of it."
"Think of a plan? On it." He says with his thinking face on. "Can I tell the rest of the group?"
"Yes but make sure no one else knows." I tell him. "We can't risk anything right now. Not with Al. He's smart but we are smarter. We will win this."
